If you were to take $200 and roll it over (not the loose change ) for a year, making one choice a week, could have a chance at turning the initial $200 into $2,423 for the year.. Not gonna get rich...

Agree.. Now if you could start with a few hundred and parlay for 6 months to 1 year that might be OK.. I could see doing that.

Yeah, I've seen it happen at tracks like CT and DD.. Scary stuff there.. Not to the extreme it was today at SA but over $250,000 to show on the horse which is a lot for those tracks..

Correct but the $ put down by groups or syndicates like that race, the horse could break down, clip heels, lose the rider.. Awful big risk for such a small return.

Yeah.. A lot of bridge jumpers.. I don't know ( if I had the $) if 5% return on say, $10,000 would be worth the risk.. I mean even when you know, you just don't know!!
