I definitely wasn't challenging your way of betting Mike--its obviously been very profitable and I hope to earn my way into your inner circle of texts and PMs to share info throughout the week...
Martinsville this weekend--hoping that the favorites open at 8-1 or higher. Ironic that the 2 drivers that dominate Martinsville have reason to be extra motivated this weekend after California :-)
I agree. I love to bet a few winners but I really research Top 3 finishes more. I got paid +1900 on Larson and +800 on Kurt Busch for being in top 3 (I had also bet #4 and #88 for top 3's as well)....
Wow...I thought I was gonna get slaughtered on this race. Having Larson and Kurt Busch in top 3 completely redeemed it for me. What a mess.
This is going to be incredible.
Kurt Busch can save me with a top 3 finish...\
EDIT: Nevermind.
How could Goodyear and NASCAR screw this one up so bad? Especially after the great Nationwide race yesterday. Nuts.
Also...another observation about Fontana....Those seats are filled to the max. Great to see the support on the West Coast. Even with the bad weather Bristol was embarrassing last weekend.

I feel like you're going to need it to keep the blood pressure down for the rest of this race.
Exactly. Long ways to go on this one--I need some help. And I'm kicking myself on Vickers. I talked him up and didn't lay a dime on him. That +1350 for Top 3 finish looks pretty good right now...
That's what I get for betting Junior for the first time...ever! :-)
This will be a mess.
Watch Hornish win the damn thing
Looks like 5d rules would support those bets w Hamlin as "no action."
Mike: who is your tony contact if I need to get in touch?
Yis with the exception of the 99 over the 31 you and I are about polar opposites this weekend :tongue0015:
I love that Longshot parlay Mike--put 2 units on it myself and got good odds :-). Your board and mine have similar horses (minus Johnson, I just can't pull for him!) so GOOD LUCK!
Hmmm my other book still has Harvick at +600. Hate that I missed him earlier in the week but just added him for 10 units...
why not? Money is just dirty paper...
Added more H2H's! If you can't tell yet, I love doing H2H round-robin parlays. I'll do a single parlay for the group and then do groups of 2 for 3 picks and groups of 3 for 4 picks. My first...
I think there is more value at +1350 for a top 3 IMO. He's good here but the 48, 20, and 4 are going to be horses today I think.
Tell me the conversation you had with yourself...I've yet to talk myself out of it.
Also, on 5Dimes there is a prop for Martin Truex Jr. v. Jamie McMurray listing Truex as the #56...
Also like yours GP...I actually added the 88 and 42 for top 3's but hadn't posted yet. Also have Harvick top 3 +165 to close out a parlay from yesterday.
Looking at Vickers top 3 at +1350. He...
Took some picks early in the week--some have shot me in the foot but I still don't feel terrible about them:
To win:
Kenseth +875 (2 units)
Logano +1250 (1 unit)
T. Stewart +2750 (2 units)
...
Yep...I had to re-read the article about the deranged wife stabbing her husband because he was obsessed with Bristol. The victim's name was Steven if I recall.
I breathed a sigh of relief.
MIKE! Where art thou fearless leader?
We are all here sitting in the pews waiting for your inspiring message of the Story of Lazarus...who, after an ass-beating in Tennessee, was raised from the...
He's definitely the horse at this track--he's yet to impress me this year and even Knaus said they are a little behind.
This is probably the weekend that he breaks through but I don't see him...
5Dimes is up...
If the "Treat My Clot" 300 doesn't get you excited, whooaa nellie I don't know what will.
Sounds like a race name from Talladega Nights.
