Impossible to just "let him go". Are you saying trade? They can't just release him and he's not eligible for amnesty. I think he has 3 years left on this deal. Short of a struck, they're stuck.
The timing was different. Westbrook was out just as long, but he had his MCL surgery in April or May. He was out for like 6 months. Same timeline for Rose.
You're way overstating the matter. I think it's true that it's impossible to say with confidence how he'll bounce back, it's just unknown but I think the likely expectation is that he'll bounce back...
I agree, especially because Bulls are more about Team D than individual D. It's all about help and rotation. Don't have to be great, just have to try hard and be coachable. Even Korver actually...
What difference does his color make? I'm saying he's more like Ben Gordon because he's a shotter that can't D up....and he's an undersized shooting guard. Dunleavy is more of a SF.
More like small mans version. Dunleavy is EIGHT inches taller. So they're completely different players.
From Snell, Dunleavy and Butler. I don't think he'll get more than 10-15, but not for at least a few weeks and he gets some practices under his belt and learns the system.
Yeah, I mean really, he's sort of more potentially like a Ben Gordon.
Dunleavy is more like Korver. Fredette is smaller and handles the ball more.
I think they had an extra vacant roster spot when they didn't renew Varnado's expired 10-day contract. Better question is who's minutes he takes. Probably means we'll see Tony Snell play less.
Or maybe he even teach him how to play Bulls D. The key is the way the Bulls play D they don't need each individual to be a great defender. They need to have some, and they do, but they move and...
Has anyone noticed that the Bulls went 21-7 in January and February?
Noah and Gibson have really powered the team and Augustin runs the team well. Butler back to how he played late last year...
