The sheet consists of nearly 300 single queries, many of which are of dubious value even in good seasons, and I don't think this is a good season, so there are many more queries from that sheet that...
I really don't think programming experience is necessary. It helped me feel a little more confident about being able to eventually learn the sdql commands, because you kind of feel that if you can...
4 possible reasons the pip query libraries have performed so much worse than throwing a dart:
1. Simple variance that will probably swing back in the other direction with a vengeance.
2. Weird...

Nash, I haven't gotten to the point of trying to single out queries. I just have a big pile of query results from the past month and a half, and most days the losers outnumber the winners, and while...

You sound really pissed. But you make top notch queries and probably good money as well, so it's not clear why you would be so pissed off. If people aren't doing it the way you do it, they will...
Another aspect of this is I still remember how well the spitball queries did. Part of that might have been lucky timing, but the spitball queries, up until the Nash sheet got made, were like 85%...
That would be kind of awesome! In that case fading the quries might actually work until the lines makers adjust again!
Nice work Cutler. One thing I have come to believe about the sample size is that it might be good to not consider it by itself, but as a function of time. For example, two queries could have the...

How about if you had 100,000 query results saved and 60,000 of them lost over the past couple of years? Wouldn't you feel confident about fading them? I would. But what I am wondering is where is...
I agree with you but along with being fine if I make money, I am perfectly fine if the queries I currently have can consistently lose at a 60% rate, because for me that isn't materially different...
One impression I get from reading down my saved list of results, is that in one of those days, say, when there are 10 winners and 15 losers, or maybe even 20 losers and 5 winners, there are some...
Every day, for maybe a a month and a half or so, I have been running a program to go through the Nash google sheet as well as my own compilation of queries, looking for the active ones for that day. ...
