Wallco coming through once again, glad you already looked into it. I guess this season really is just a freak of nature.

Wallco coming through once again, glad you already looked into it. I guess this season really is just a freak of nature.
In my original testing for the 7/5, I didn't think too much about series that continue past the road trip. In fact I want to say that I dropped the series after the road trips completed regardless if...
Tony... I know you're upset the system is failing but there aren't any tweaks to make. You're talking about adapting, we are, when we see proper evidence (like adding in the A bets as plays at the...
Thanks kev!
Sorry Valand, I'll empty my inbox and take a look. I'll message you.
I'm glad you decided to take over the posting Kev because you are right, it is the first time in a few years that the games have been properly recorded throughout the season. Usually some mid-season...
If Morrison original is failing the 1-7/5 won't be doing its best either. But considering a 45 unit differential between 1-7/5 and original I'd say it's doing well.
Original Morrison system getting crushed, probably irrecoverable with 1 unit wins. I don't know why people insist on keeping that strategy going with 1-7/5 around. Though if you are going to play...
Thanks for the reminder Kev
As a Floridian, I hated watching both my teams fail to get it done last night. Even worse that money was on them both!
Looking forward to pulling out of the slump!
It's a big one today, good work Kev and Wallco
Pushes do not count as losses in 1-7/5, however NOP clear-cut lost at -3.5 on Covers closing line.
Great night. :)
Below average. Not bad. Keep in mind the filtered version just took a loss and the unfiltered 2 losses in the past week, so it's a bad time to judge.
Really looking forward to the Miami bet...
Got to say I'm loving this thread at the moment. So much better than past years, I haven't checked, but I believe at this time last year we had over twice as many pages.
Thanks for the notice on...
It comes down to the simple fact that Morrison only cares about what the record looks like and not what the actual cash won is. The rules of his system are to help keep the record clean and nothing...
Decided not to bother
Big C today. I'm considering also taking Pacers -5.5 vs Houston
shipsn2010 - The traditional method doesn't have NO as a play
Thanks again Kev and Wallco good work
Smooth sailing gents
Kev just a quick correction you have for upcoming plays, you list filtered "as above", but there is the unfiltered play of Toronto C that will not be a filtered play. I'm sure on the day of it...
Morrison will say one thing or the other depending on which one will boost his record. Take everything he says with a grain of salt. Good job Kev!
Kev, I hope you do continue to post the filtered version of 1-7/5. Even though I can follow plays on my own, many people here who still play filtered look to your posts and it would be silly leaving...
You too Wallco!
Not the best night last night, but whatever, it's the holidays! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
+20 to -30 is a change of -50, so if you're bankroll is made up of 100 units, that's half. No reloading necessary unless you overstepped your bounds Kenny
I wasn't talking about changing your unit size on a daily basis, but on a season to season basis. Analyzing what you have and setting your amount at the start of a season, riding it to the end, and...
Wallco I wasn't trying to offend you. I apologize. There's no need to be defensive. Both the methods have their merits, one isn't definitely better than the other. One has made more units in recent...
I like the results of the unfiltered version, but I still believe the filtered version is superior due to its stability over the unfiltered version. The stability it provides is obvious when you look...
During my backtest I did not factor in many of JMs rules including the injury filter. So if Phoenix is still listed, I will still be playing it
I'm playing Utah for a lower amount than normal because I just don't trust them as a team, especially not this season. Last season they were our first loss and had another loss later in the month....
No 1-7/5 games until the 19th, take a breather fellas.
Kev loving how in depth you're making the posts, very professional and easy to keep records. Good job bud!
The only losing A bets when playing 1-7/5 are the ones that fall within the range of the 3.5 filter and are eliminated, otherwise it's a win/win situation. People should be looking forward to the 7/5...
Kev you list Philly twice on 11/15 when one of them should be Memphis with a Push, series stopped. Otherwise good job and thank you for stepping up, I like the format!
Just wanted to clear up the next couple days plays for everyone. Like I said at the beginning of the season I am not going to be very reliable this season with posting the plays daily and on time, so...
NO Pelicans C bet - Loss
Milwaukee B bet - Win
Oklahoma City A bet - Loss (series stopped)
Brooklyn A bet - Loss
1-7/5 Bets 11/14
None
1-7/5 Bets 11/15
You say that like it's a bad thing. What happened to this thread? It stopped being a cluttered mess with too many useless posts day to day. Now it's the plays, works for me :)
Nobody should be getting worried. Even if tonight doesn't go our way this is something that should have been planned for. This system averages 7-8 losses a season, but these losses are recovered in...
Fun fact, Utah was the first loss last season as well. They haven't won a single game this season!
JMD good work on the play posts! As a suggestion, I think it could help for record keeping purposes if we included somewhere how many A bet games were stopped from moving to B and C due to the...
The spammer who got his post removed
Today I have information that you're an asshole!
Chase 110 is totally different from the JM system. Wallco created it himself a couple years ago.
Kev, normally I would agree with you, and I must say I'm on your side when it comes to throwing out...
No. The 3.5 filter only applies to the A bets. If the A bet loses by 3.5 points to the spread, we move on to B and if B loses to the base spread we move on to C.
I'm very interested to see how the backtests without the 3.5 filter turn out. I believe in my very firsts tests of 7/5, before I starting testing filters, showed good results but was very volatile....
Yes the 7/5 and 1-7/5 are all based on the closing line at Covers.
I agree JMD use a unit count instead of US dollars. Good job otherwise
This is how I did it last season JMD, I think it is clear and concise. If you want to use it this way go ahead. Use red/green to denote wins/losses for the previous plays, and today's plays in bold...
No problem JMD. You can continue posting if you want! I am usually not able to get to a computer and use this forum until 1-2pm EST, so if I did the posts they would be in the late afternoon. So go...
