Default rain delay is huge advantage for federer

breaks nadal's momentum, gives more time for nadal to think about things, and dont forget that nadal tweaked the knee yet again in the 2nd set slip and it could be tightening up on him in the locker room.

at the french, a rain delay does not matter coz nadal kills everyone on that surface, but on grass, nadal has never beaten federer anywhere, let alone centre court wimbledon, so you know he's thinking about things

this is wimbledon GOD intervention for federer, just like 2004 vs. roddick, if you dont know what happened there, roddick was up a set on federer and playing well then the rain came and broke roddick's mo, federer admitted after the match that the delay helped him and "probably" hurt andy

federer in 5, especially if they cannot finish today and have to resume tomorrow morning,
last time that happened was 2001 ivanisovec vs. rafter, it sucked to have to watch the rest of the match on a monday morning

I don't really view this rain delay as that much of an advantage for Fed. He was doing fine in the 3rd set before it hit.

Why is it huge advantage? It gives Nadal time to relax, rest and come back to finish Federer off.

if nadal wins, i will come back and say i was wrong, but if federer wins, i wana see how many of you are man enough to come back in here and drop some props for what i am predicting, federer, due partly to the rain delay, will come back and win this match in 5 sets,

if nadal does not close out fed in 4 sets or 3, he will have his confidence destroyed by the 5th set and its lights out baby,

i have no money on the line, i have just seen this scenario before and mentally its tough for the underdog to finish the favorite off in this type of situation

TY kindly, sir

the haters can eat that one up!

anyhow, federer is 1 month shy of 27, still in his prime, perhaps slightly on the downside, he's got a few things to say at the All England Club before he's done,

i think he'll make a very big statement right now, that he is still the king of grass
