gutsy considering she has played in five WTA events and never won a set.
Llagostera Vives retired in singles last week but played doubles the next two days and was fine. Can get much better than that price if you shop around..

No, not I.
It does look like I jumped the gun though as she is now +244 at 5 Dimes. No worries, I'd be happy with a +230 winner.
(Oh, and I did get $200 down at +275 at CW).

that's actually what he does every day. He puts all the underdogs up on dartboards.
He has one for NHL and one for tennis.
When he wakes up in the morning, he throws a dart at each one. If he misses the entire board, he passes in the day.
I do trust his dart-throwing, though, so I'm taking Vandeweghe +230 at Bodog.
I hate Bodog's huge juice, but oh well.

C'mon LT, CW's bogus lines don't count.

Which is why I don't quote them in my threads (well, that and their low limits)

yep, you can make money off of their funny money lines, but since they limit bets to a few hundred a pop at the most, it's a PITA.

Man I wish I would have had the balls to take Oscar Hernandez over Ljubicic. Cashed at some ridiculous odds this morning. Why did I talk myself out of that? Poop.

He threw that match ... I have no doubts, a -880 Favorite losing after playing a tight 2 Setter vs Murray last week.

Very likely. He played unbelievable well last week, can't believe he didn't manage to break Hernandez once.
Btw Llodra with another suspicious match, wins first set and then retires.

I don't know about that. The books definitely put a ridiculous price on him though. He shouldn't be that big a fave against anyone. All he has is his serve. When that doesn't work, CrazyLou could beat him.

I don't agree. He was in great shape last week, hit numerous winners, made very few mistakes, moved well enough and didn't make many backhand errors for once.
Agree though that he should not have been that big of a fav.

he was -1000 on Bodog and lost in straight sets. That's pretty funny.
wait, wtf? Hernandez is actually ahead of him in the rankings and the line was so huge? Never seen a -1000 favorite before that was actually ranked behind the underdog.

I blame your dart for not hitting Hernandez.

Then you don't know much about tennis then....
Ljubicic former world no.3, but aging. It all depends on his serve.
Hernandez is very ordinary away from clay.
Longshots do actually win tennis matches occasionally, without matches being thrown. Odds of -1000 means the player should win 10 out of 11 times this match is played, not 100 out of 100.
Conspiracy theorists who have no clue about natural variation in human performances give me the shits...

You're an asshole.
I don't watch tennis much, aside from Nadal and Federer, but I follow the lines a lot and all I said was that it's bizarre to have a player -1000 over someone higher in the rankings than him.
