I did research on it. I'm with you on this. Tio is a clay specialist while other girl only plays hard court usually. She won't be ready for Tio. Tio 2-0 Win

Numerous reasons, but a few quick ones:

Flipkens has not been on the clay courts since May of last year and is just 1-4 L5 on the clay surface and the 1 win went the distance.

Pous Tio on the otherhand has already played 2 tournaments and a total of 4 matches on the clay this year going 2-2 with both losses going the distance. She is coming off a tough Quarterfinal loss to Venus in 3 sets, but that was over a month ago and she should be hungry to get back at it and on a court she is comfortable playing.

Finally, I'm not a big believer in Flipkens, just don't think she is that good and I know she is ranked almost 100 places higher than Tio in the rankings, but those don't mean too much to me.

Aussie Open already took place, it goes on in January, 1st major of the year every year.

Yeah we should do well again this year now that college hoops are finally all finished I can use more free time to post in this forum.
