JCF all the way. At -210 can he win a little over 2/3 of the time? Yes. Both of these guys are clay court players but JCF has translated that to hard, winning over 50% of his matches on the surface and 3 titles. Regardless this hard court is very gritty to counteract the speed from altitude and warm weather.

juan monaco is a tough out...he fights hard...his game on hardcourt seems to be improving. hopefully you didn't have too much on jcf

Yeah, that was a bummer. Now Monaco should be able to deal with Garcia-Lopez but he has been intriguing here in Indian Wells.
