I've been doing a few contests in the soccer forum with a similar format and wanted to try a few out here for tennis to see if we can't continue to promote this part of SBR and perhaps win some points here and there.

Will have the format and rules posted later today. Entry fee will be minimal, just 10 SBR points. Payout format will depend on how many participants we have. Hope to see a lot of the great cappers here in the tennis forum participate!

SBR Points Contest: Monday, February 15th
ENTRY DEADLINE IS 9:00am ET on MONDAY - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Rules & Format
1. Entry fee is 10 SBR points. Fee must be paid upon the time that your entry is posted in this thread. Any entry that is not accompanied by an entry fee is VOID and will not count. To pay your fee, simply click the gold coin in this first post and donate 10 points to EaglesPhan36. I will serve as the bank for this contest and make payouts upon completion of all matches for the day.

2. Upon posting your entry, you MAY NOT edit your picks. Any post that is edited will be VOIDED AND SBR Point Entry Fee will be kept toward overall prize payouts. If you forget to answer one of the questions, please post your answer for that question in a separate post.

3. Participants must answer all questions + tie breakers to have a complete entry in the contest for the day. Any entry that does not have all questions answered including the tie breaker will be VOID and SBR Points Entry Fee will be kept toward the overall prize payouts.

4. Prize payouts go as follows:
1-10 Participants: 1st Place (75%), 2nd place (25%)
11+ Participants: 1st Place (60%), 2nd Place (30%), 3rd place (10%)

**TIE BREAKER**
Total Number of Games played between Nicolas Almagro & Daniel Gimeno-Traver in their first round match at the Copa TelMex in Buenos Aires.
[Winner will be the participant who correctly guesses the amount of games closest to the total WITHOUT going over the actual number of games. If both miss the number by going OVER the total, then the tie breaker goes to participant who guesses the number closest to the actual number of games played]

Scoring
For each question, a correct answer is +2 points. An incorrect answer is -1 point. For #5, the bonus question is worth an additional 3 points for a correct answer. There is no penalty for missing the bonus question.
