I hate serena..everytime i look at her face with that bandana which is actually holding her wig on i see her mom and it pisses me off

on the other hand I did not want to see henin take a year off and stroll in and win this

azarenka blew it yesterday..henin was praying she won too

the greatest thing in the world would be to see n li win it..yes she could be wearing a helmet and sticking a bayonet in your gut in another era..but her legs are fukin smokin

the fukin gorilla will crush any lambs in her path right now..its over

Serena is hurt. She could barely move yesterday. Henin has won 7 majors in her life and is a very close second behind Serena as the most dominant player in the past 10 years. Henin may also have a winning record against Serena lifetime, not sure about that though. Going to wait until the odds are released and see who I'm on. Serena won a match yesterday in which she was getting destroyed for over a set and a half. I'm talking destroyed. Then Serena destroyed Azarenka when Azarenka got stupid and quit making Serena work.

1st and Ten Serena will have to have a bad injury to lose to China. China has half the power Azarenka has and Serena blew Azarenka off the court in the 2nd half of the match.

Venus is not nearly the hardcourt player Serena is and Serena's playing at the court she loves the best over her career. Its all about how injured Serena really is.

I will be watching closely to see if Serena improves her footwork over yesterday. That is the tell tale sign.

Do NOT lay the chalk on Serena today. I wouldn't waste money on the China either but Serena may be very hurt. China did beat Venus.

WileOut..when you say China I am guessing you mean Li although there are two Chinese woman in the semis

N Li `s fore hand has just as much power as Azarenka`s if not more IMO..Zheng has no power but a decent return game

If Has a weak serve she could be trouble. Henin has had lots of close matches so be careful here.

If Henin can get her first serve in at a respectable rate, she will win.

Henin will dominate at the net. i'm worried about serena though, i might say **** that match even though i think na Li could win.

I said China when talking about Serena's opponent. So yes I was talking about Li. It was a tongue in cheek comment because the Chinese media was all over that semi final match. In the country of 1.3 billion, it was the top story in the media there. The Chinese are just some weird people.

As for a comparison of Azarenka's power to Li, there is none. Azarenka is just a notch below Serena in ground stroke power, and Azarenka is probably more powerful than Venus Williams. Azarenka is probably second to only Serena in ground stroke power, yes her backhand is stronger than her forehand but her forehand is a lot more powerful than Li's.

If Li played Serena in 100 straight matches, she could never push Serena around the court like Azarenka did in the first set of Azarenka's match with Serena.

Now for the head to head of Serena vs Henin. Its no class idiot vs a player with class coming out of her ears. Serena is a complete and total idiot, I have never liked her and not many do. She is right there with her sister as the top 2 most classless players to ever set foot on the court. Trash. Henin is the total opposite, she is just a beautiful person.

Serena has a slight 7-6 lifetime head to head matchup lead on Henin but Henin has dominated Serena the past 4 times they met, going 3-1, and some of the matches were not close. Henin is like Martina Hingis with power. That is scary because Hingis dominated womans tennis until the Williams sisters and Henin came on the scene. Henin has the most beautiful game to watch, she literally has no weaknesses, except for an occasional double fault problem (which is only because she has swiched to a heavier racket and is going for harder serves, 1st and 2nd). Yesterday though she served great after double faulting like 3 times early.

Its unbelievable to watch Henin play because here is this 5-5 225 pound pretty little girl that comes out there and destroys the ball. Her body is a work of art, she has the prototype tennis body, I love this woman. No other woman has the muscles that she has (no the Williams sisters are not even close they are fat and out of shape) but she still has the feminine curves. The amount of times she hits the line or is within a foot of the line has to be #1 in womans tennis. She may be the best all around offensive player we have ever seen in womans tennis. I say this because her volleying is just as good as her ground strokes which would set her apart from say a Steffi Graf who couldn't volley quite as well as Henin.

Serena is Serena. She goes for way to many winners because her fat ass cant stay in long points. But when she gets in the zone there is simply nothing anyone can do, except Henin. Henin can weather the storm because she is not only the best offensive player but also one of the best defensive players on the womans tour.

Serena is going to have to lift her game up a big notch over how she has played the last 2 matches to beat Henin. Henin is already almost in top form, despite being away from the game for almost 2 years and this being only her 2nd tourney back. Henin is as mentally tough as they get and she is ruthless, just like Serena is. It is going to be a great match but I give the edge to Henin because Henin is much more consistent and far more athletic than Serena. Look for Henin to pick Serena apart. I really hope thats what is going to happen but I won't put money on Henin yet. I will start that when she has a few tourneys under her belt.

Guys I have watched tons and tons of tennis for 20 years or, men and womens and this is a fukkin mismatch. Serena was so lucky to win last night as Li had her all over the court and on the defensive all fukkin night. Serana's grounds strokes are very shaky after the 4th ralley. The only thing that scares me is Henin has not played much tennis and she could have a bad match. The only scenario how erena wins is she hits lots of aces and she smashes lots of Henin second serves for winners and in tennis not a great chance of that happening.

When you say juggs are you talking about her legs, her earrings, or her weave/headband combo?

I don't really bet WTA to much but I wouldn't toss Serena out so summarily guys. She is a professional tennis player who has shown a marked ability to bounce back from long matches. She has more power in her forehand and serve than Henin. I'm not saying she wins here just that she deserves a look.

And yah, Wile is right. Totally classless.

Said it already - if Serena is a solid underdog price now which I did not expect, you have to consider it. Henin will be the more fit of the two, BUT Serena's serve is a huge factor. Henin will not be able to jump in and work over Serena's serve like she did on Zheng's soft serves. Henin's double faults could still wind up being the deciding factor. Will be interesting to watch the price on this.

Well, serena got semi double tonight and double final tomorrow's night and a single final on sat's night.

Henin is gonna be well rested.

By the way, Henin is not 225 lbs, lol.

Na Li not composed enough and too predictable.

this could be like the Dementiava/Serena match in the last tournament. Serena is burning out fast. She will face her toughest opponent since Elena, and Henin handled her in 2. the way to beat Serena in her current state is to play the angles; deep, short, and varied. Na li tried but she only played deep angles and wasn't always accurate enough with her shots. Henin will make serena run and then play the shortball, Na Li did not. If Henin can work them legs she goes home with her first title of the year.

...at least i'm hoping she will.

Serena just fought through two very close matches. She's battle tested. Azarenka was playing world class tennis, and had Serena down 6-4, 4-0. How the f*ck did she manage to come back from that? At one point I thought that Azarenka played the best tennis I'd ever seen any woman play.

Henin rolled through her semi. She may be rested, but not tested. Her many double faults are a big problem.

It will be close, but I think Serena wants this more. She's gone through on sheer willpower so far. I don't think the doubles she's playing are a problem. That's just practice, to stay sharp and loose.
