    Default Isner/sorenson..

I cant ever remember isner being this much chalk in any match ever. The guy is playing his 7th match since jan 11th..All have gone the distance except 1.I dont know much about this irish kid,but isner might be gassed and if sorenson can get a set off him,it might be on.

    Just my 2 cents..

lol isner was -800 vs ilhan in us open. but that was in us. i mean have you watched isner in auckland. he did start off slow but it seems like fatigue has not been a factor for him and this guy is just so damn short. the chalk on isner seems about right, i mean we don't know if the fatigue will catch on but clearly isner would beat this guy anyday

5 sets is a lot of tennis for the day before...but Isner's serve should help him get this one.

I think the important stat you mentioned is those matches went the distance. Instead of hoping this made Isner tired I am looking at it as he is giving his opponents opportunity to hold serve. He played a lot of tie-breaks in those matches. I didn't cap it but was thinking over as a gut/instinct play.

Are unforced errors a sign of fatigue? Isner has 17 of em already through 1.5 sets..but still looks like he could win this in 3..

not necessarily...kudryavtseva had something like 85 or so unforced errors and even won the match in 3 sets...and it was her first match of the tournament
