I took Montanes -4 games. Though he was forced to win 7 games in a set in each of his previous 2 matches the other set he completed in each was enough to cover this spread. Lammer is similarly ranked to the relative newcomes Montanes faced in those matches and Lammer has given his opponents a significant amount of break chances. GL to you Fern!

i'm on montanes as well...I saw him play his last match against the kiwi...he was solid - i don't think he will beat himself, he was pretty solid...i have never seen lammer play but there is nothing in his recent results to be impressed with. I think he said he likes clay better as well and that's montanes best surface by far. hopefully montanes takes it in 3 sets....

funny thing about lammer is that he was a roommate of federer for a bit a while back...i don't think the greatness has rubbed off.

Yeah, saw that he roomed w/ Fed (it's in my blog in fact). And he cites his best surface as clay but the numbers say he is just as bad on it as he is on hard. Loses about 60% on both.

Yeah the story so far is not Montanes playing well but more Lammer hitting unforced errors.

Sorry, obsessed with Chardy (he's been burning me), got him on the brain, I meant Clement. I think Glitch convinced me that the line is fair but might be looking at the over since both are decently on form.

looks like they have played each other pretty close in their 3 matches with melzer up 2-1....clement has been pretty steady when i've seen him play...and he burned me when he beat tsonga....i think clement is playing well enough to take the over or his +2.5 with the possibility of him winning. I don't think this will be a blowout. clement has knocked off ferrer and chardy lately so he is playing well.

My lean would be to the over...too bad its pretty high at 23. I would still take it though.

Cool, yeah that is what I decided on. The juice on it came down a little at 5 dimes. The money is flowing pretty steadily to Melzer which has me holding my breath for a nice line move for Clement but it keeps going in reverse... Don't really know what that means but cest la vie, guess I'll live w/ the over too.
