I'll definitely be taking Soderling with the handicap whatever it is. I'm pretty sure Nadal's yet to cover one.

there were similar threads before Aus Open final, regarding Andy Murray....No, he will lose in straight sets vs Nadal.

    murray is forehandless
    soderling has a huge one
    murray has a shit serve
soderling has one of the best serves on tour
and he has beaten nadal before in slam

so i dont think its the same comparison

Rafa will win the final for sure but getting Soderling at the current price will provide good opportunities for hedging live.

    rafa does not lose

last year he had knee tendonitis, so a major injury is all it took for nadal to lose on clay

soderling has done good but now he has to take second prize

exactly, Soederling will not defeat a healthy Nadal on clay unless Rafa comes drunk on the court....I don't say he's not a great player, don't get me wrong, but Nadal will dominate the ATP in the next years. A good value bet would be that there will be a tie-break in the game...Nadal has been through it against Almagro, twice and against Melzer, once....It will be something like 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 for Rafa....
and im looking forward for him to get other grand slams this year, maybe the US Open (i think he'll strive a lot to get it and complete the slam....only Nadal can win all four slams in one year from what we have today.

what do you mean soderling cannot beat a healthy nadal, the guy goes all out and usually is able to control the game. if he is serving well the guy can beat anyone, he is going to come out there hitting a ton of winners and unforced errors but there is a chance that soderling can win, i really see soderling getting a set here

If nadal is -440 against Soederling, that is for a reason. Robin might defeat him on hard, but not on clay, Nadal is probably the best ckay player ever...

this match will be decided by how well robin serves.......nadal drops his serve a fixed amount in every match but he makes up by breaking others more. So if soda keeps on serving well that will be the difference......so if top form robin shows up then top form rafa is beatable.

I agree and Robins been returning the ball very well this week and Nadal doesnt have a better serve then Federer or Berdych so Robin will be able to put more pressure on Nadal in his serve. I also think Robin has a better chance to win if the weather is rainy and the court is wet, Nadal prefers a dry court so he can put a lot of spin on the ball. Robin hits the ball so hard so he can still play his game and powerhouse through the wet clay.

I think its going to be a great match to watch
