I want to know how the tennis lines are determined. Is it by statistical analysis or by fundamental analysis? Do they hire former pro players to help them? Thank you.

i would say that the lines are determined in the same way that all other sports have their lines determined...current form, past form, playing surface, head to head, playing style, importance of match to either player, match location - those are a few of the things off the top of my head but there is probably much more to it....and pinnacle would be the best book for tennis that i have seen.

Would be pretty difficult to determine the weight of all those factors. Do you know if they use econometric model or they average the opinion of certain people?
