I really wish the matches were flip flopped and Sodes/Davy were first, that way we could have a stronger feel on Joker. What I mean is that if Davy loses, Joker knows his destiny is in his hands and if Davy wins, might be a good spot to fade Joker.
The match I'm interested in is Sodes/Davy. I hate taking small favorites, but might have to make an exception and lay the small wood on Davy in this spot. Will Sodes risk potential injury or fatigue himself for 120k, maybe since he was not one of the favorites to win this tourney, but does he feel that way, probably not.
Tough matches tomorrow, gonna think about them before acting.
Soderling doesn't look like a guy who will play easy just because he has qualified and with davys's poor serving, soderlingthedog is the play. If it wasn;t for nadal's abysmal attack davy would have been broken multiple times.
I see all you guys want to talk Sodes/Davy and have your insight on it, my pick will be the one that wins the first set to cash my under play. I have an idea who wins, but if he loses the first I will be rooting the other way.
i was on the djoker ML - didn't get a chance to post earlier...was a little scared to go with the games -3.5 even though that came through as well....
I am leaning towards davy for this match....the two play eachother very competitively but I think since soderling is already in that davy will be motivated to get in as well and may take it in two sets.
davy took it in 3 sets...djoker needed the rest anyways...leaning towards taking davy's games versus fed at +4. He is playing well enough to give fed a good run - maybe even upset him....i'm hoping soderling can take out delpo because i put a few bucks on soderling to win the tourney when he was +800...have a few on davy as well at +1250
