    1.5.14/Play #14: [WTA HOBART] Riske +140
Vaginal League spot stop. Pavlyuchenkova checked out of her last match with a thigh injury. She's trained since arriving at Hobart, so is obviously good enough to go here. Still, with a week or so to go before the Australian Open - she may not be of the mind to push too hard here. Riske is capable even against the Russian at 100%. Worth a go.

Fat Pav doesn't show up tonight methinks. Feel like an r-tard for betting Kuznetsova in her first match of the year. Getting blitzed by Lepchenko.

One thing I am trying to avoid this year no matter the player - avoiding matches where a replacement comes in due to injury whether it's a Lucky Loser moving up or a qualifier getting a bye into the main draw. Maybe later in the year you could find better spots, but first up for Sveta and she had prepped for one player and then finds out she is playing another ... makes life really difficult although she is still alive.

    1.5.14/Play #15: [WTA SYDNEY] Makarova +330
Makarova back in singles for the first time since the US Open. Jankovic is the draw in the Vaginal League. Just something stuck in my guy here that Makarova needs the match play more, while JJ had a nice run last week in Brisbane. Feels like Makarova either scalps a disinterested or Jankovic or Makarova is rusty and gets absolutely buggy whipped.

Another great call on the upset. Seems like you are better at calling big upsets than favourites haha.

Travel, plus dolgo didn't play bad vs ferrer in Doha. Dolgo is the better player.

Thanks matt I found a post by EP in another thread also referencing a coaching switch by dolpo that he views as very favorable.

Mostly fatigue + motivation being questionable for ERV. I don't see it as a good bet either way, especially given Dolgopolov's inconsistency.

ERV playing quite well and won't want to just give up momentum against a player he's historically owned. Dolgo looking for a positive outing any way he can get it. Both sides good enough to push this over 21.5, I think, considering the potential fatigue. Nothing big, but I like it better than a side.

One of those to me where everyone is trying to read an angle ... usually good ones to skip.

Not sure what the question is about Baghdatis-Brands ... but Brands is out. Stevie Johnson is in his spot.

Not a big fan of either. Baghdatis is playing his 1st match. Errani looked like garbage last week. They might both come through, but not a very sturdy parlay - more of an action thing. Just chill till tomorrow and refocus.

I guess Brands is still in there against Klahn apparently. Lots of shifting.

I don't understand the swing? Help me out here with some background check on her?

    http://www.oddsportal.com/tennis/aus...lara-ptpPQxeP/

She's more talented IMO and has been showing a better desire recently. Energised, better body language, better fight and coming through tight situations more. Why is she drifting?

I've had a nibble on Zakopalova. I'd say 3 main reasons for the odds. 1) Zhang finished the year well last year. 2) Zhang crushed her compatriot round 1 (willing to just ignore this). 3) Zakopalova is a mess on serve and in the wind in Hobart got broken five times by Meusberger in her 1st round without saving a breakpoint (forecast looks better for tomorrow).

I think EP has this sort of play trademarked as a cheesegrater play. At the odds was willing to spin the WTA wheel just on how shit Zhang's tour level record outside of China is.

Haven't looked at qualis yet. Will do some research today.

No opinion on the WTA mess.

If those are the superficial reasons, that Zhang beat a few half decent playerss to win a tournament or two in Asia then I'm all over Zakapolova, because that momentum is no longer relevant and nor is the form. Meusburger is good defensively so losing serve to her doesn't inviteably mean she was bad.

Zakapolova is the play IMO. Thanks for that information.

    1.7.14: [AO QUALIFYING]
    Parlay: D.Brown + Menendez-Maceiras -148
    Herbert -160
    McGee +110
    Saville +130

*All are either risking 0.5 unit or to win 0.5 unit. Always like to play it safer during Qualis with half stakes bets for me.

Putrid display and again why I like to half the stakes for qualis - anything can happen in these. Looks like 0-2 to start. Yee haw.
