The tournament will be a round robin format with eight players/teams divided in two groups of four players/teams each, with eight seeds to be determined by the South African Airways ATP Rankings and the 2009 ATP Doubles Team Rankings of Monday, 16 November 2009.
The top seed will be placed in Group A and the second seed will be placed in Group B. Players/teams seeded three and four, five and six, seven and eight, will then be drawn in pairs with the first drawn placed in Group A.
The round robin will determine the four players/teams for the semi-finals with the format thereafter being an elimination competition.
The winner of each group (best overall record) will be placed in separate semifinal brackets, with the top player/team in Group A playing the runner-up in Group B, and vice versa.

I was a little shocked at Feds H2H vs. the top 3 competitors, 19-24 (13-13 Hard).
He dominates the other 4 competitors, 33-1 (32-1 Hard).
As much as I don't see that much value in taking Feds at the current odds, injuries of others (Murray and JMDP, Raffy's current form, and his dominance of the bottom 4, has him the clear, cut favorite.
I will not be making any plays, future or match, until I review and post each player.
Let me state that I hate Joker and think he is a pussy. However, we his recent form, I will def be making a future play on him and will probably play him in a couple matches.
The only one it seems Murray struggles against is Raffy and with Raffy's current, poor form, he might be worth a shot on a future play. Murray usually fairs well against Feds but is a coin flip against Joker, maybe even a dog with the way Joker is playing of late, will have to wait for draws.
Have to wait and see the extent of his core injury before considering playing or fading him. I really don't see him being that effective in this tourney in his recent form, especially if he plays Feds or Joker.
Never really know what to expect out of Davy, he can compete against anyone on the ATP but sometimes just throws it in. If you take out his h2h against Feds, he fairs ok against the rest of the field.
The numbers don't lie folks, Verdy does not fair well against this level of competition and I don't see that changing next week. Will look to fade Verdy when the numbers and draws come out.
If anyone has any further details on Murray's injury, please post it in this thread. I'm going to try and find out the extent of it because planning on making a nice future play on him.
