LT......the Melzer line looks like great value and I've been debating whether or not to jump on board. Radek has a tremendous track record on these indoor hard courts. It seems like a surface of comfort, and it's definately within Stepanek's comfort zone.

Probably a no play for me either way. GoodLuck

Do you think you could make money with a martingale system and your longshot tennis bets?

Gman yes you can make money martingaling. Problem is it won't last. Everyone eventually loses 9-10 bets in a row.

I pulled the trigger and jumped on board with Melzer. He's beaten Radek in only head to head matchup on same surface and playing in his home country. Let's go Jurgen!

Gotta question Radek's motivation in this one VS. Melzer and his home crowd. Tough call indeed.

Take away the head to head meeting. It was a challenger event.

Good point, I missed that. Either way, tough match to call, and I expected this one to be closer to even odds. Whether Melzer wins or not, I see value at +145

Meltzer played a ton of games in his last 4 matches. Opponents took him to tie breaks or 7 games in every match. Stepanek hardly broke a sweat to win his matches. I think Stepanek is undepriced here and he is a great value.

Alternate site because ATP live scoreboard isn't working properly for the Vienna tourny. It still has Cilic/Lopez at 2-2 in the 2nd set. That match ended over an hour ago.

Anyways, Melzer up a break in the 1st, 2-1.

I would think not considering I am 25 games under .500 on a W/L basis. That said, I don't remember a really long losing streak of the top of my head.

Regardless, unbounded martingales are NEVER good.

Sorry guys, I made a typo in my record, it was actually 47-72 coming in, not 37-72.

The value was certainly with Melzer at +145....no question about it.
