I took Starace at -200. Donskoy is ranked 396th. Donskoys last 3 tournament loses have been against 408,410,302 ranked opponents.

I get up this morning and Starace is +100. WHAT!!

I go to Bookmaker and Donskoy is -300 and Starace is +240

WTF????

SO naturally I put more on Starace. BUt not too much because something smells fishy.
I know Donskoy is playing in his home counrty but he hasnt played on a hard surface since July in which he lost 1st round to a 169th ranked player.

Maybe someone leaked out he was throwing the match to get the odds down. Then hammer the action on him. Because no one in their right mind would bet on Donskoy.

Dumb question. Can you make money betting both sides at these live betting games and should I use 2 books or will the book care? Sure seems like an easy way to make money.

How so? Can't you just pick the underdog in the live game and hope the momentum swings the other way?

Astro there are arbitrage betors who look for these changes. Sometimes you can find one player at say +150 on one book and the opposing player at +160 on another, so no matter who you bet on you will win.
