Soderling owns a 5-3 lifetime advantage in the head-2-head vs. Berdych, including a 6-1, 6-1 route in March on outdoor hard court. Berdych hasn't been quite as impressive as Soderling here in Kuala Lumpour, needing 3 sets in each of his two matches. Still, Neither has a ton of experience in 2009 on the indoor hard surface and on any given day, Berdych is a threat to beat a player the caliber of Soderling. Berdych must hold his 1st serve and win easy points to have as shot, but at more than 2:1 - he is worth the risk here for me.

i think he could of beat Roger he was playing that good, but he mentally beat himself out of that one before he stepped on the court.
