Vesnina +275 at Midnight ET-ish
It is pouring in Tokyo, but Center Court is covered and this match between Jankovic and Vesnina comes up after the Bartoli match. Probably will start more like 12:30am ET or a bit later .... not sure why Jankovic is this heavy a favorite as she's been a big rollercoaster on hard courts late this season. Vesnina is 0-3 vs. Jankovic, but two were on clay and the other was three plus years ago on hard, going three sets. Jankovic based on her ranking and head-2-head probably got this -335 tag I see, but based on current form, Vesnina gives a good scalp price here in a tourney where 3 of the top 6 seeds are already toast. Jankovic is the 7th seed. What the hell right?
