Venus lost to Pennetta who had been playing lights out in the last two weeks, that was not a big upset based on that. Apparently there was a Twitter update someone got that Serena had a sore throat prior to her match, I think some people F-ed the books hardcore on that because Bammer was about +850. I unfortunately was a doosh and did not even throw a little on it as I caught the update right when wagers were due.

any1 playing the williams sisters on non slams are out of their minds. seriously. i played bammer +6 medium, no way she was going to not cover.
they want to be the real nr.1 but they think only tournaments matter are slams !!

sad state of affairs in the WTA if Kim wins this tournament, her first back. Up agasint the so-called world #1 Safina. Kim is much more athletic, greater court coverage and has terrific defensive abilities. She can match Safina in the power department. IMO, not a good match up for Dinara today, the line has world #1 Safina the DOG!!!!! .......

Absolutely agree, the Williams sisters might as well not even show up in non-major tourneys they never even try and always get beat by some qualifier or 30th ranked player

Then in majors they never lose a set to anyone outside the top 5 or 6, clearly they dont even give a shit about non-majors and must be getting paid nice appearance fees to even show up

Venus lost after winning set 1 6-1 . The line for Bondarenko was +1750 after set 1. Today Serena will NOT cover a +6 or +6.5 spread vs. Shvedova im pretty sure of that.
