Nice juicy number on KLIZAN over Youzhny on Saturday

I respect Youzhny's game on hardcourts but Klizan is the hottest player in the top 50. The Slovak is in phenomenal form right now. This line should be close to a pickem. Getting Klizan at +150 is a gift.

He's going to upset Youzhny tomorrow.

Hottest in the Top 50? That's a stretch. He is in good form, but far from the hottest guy on tour. Hard to gather to me how Klizan is on this surface so far because he's played three guys who have been absolutely brutal this tournament. Interested to see how he fares against a good returner. I think it's an accurate price given the experience/inexperience factor + the Russia factor ...

I've been watching him closely and he's found something in his form that's working well right now , EP. His movement, groundstrokes, physique reminds me of a mini Djoker.

Ever since his good showing at Wimbledon, Youzhny's form the last two months has been very questionable. Lost to Mueller and got straight setted by Hewitt both on hard.

Gimme the youngblood Klizan at +150, excellent number imo.

It's an interesting match and in a neutral environment perhaps he would rate a really good shot. Still think he can win, but it's a brutal environment as we saw today with Youzhny playing and the crowd support for him ... I just haven't seen enough from Klizan against the veteran players to know what to think just yet. Outside of the Tsonga win and I think a lot of guys on tour would have gutted that chump that day - he's got a couple wins I think sprinkled against guys in the Top 40-50, but this is still a weaker surface for him vs. slower stuff where he really has thrived this year.

Granted Youzhny did not play overly well today, but showed the experience in continuing to grind till the end and wound up winning comfortable when it looked like he was going to lose after being broken early in the 3rd.

Think Klizan has to get off to a good start and not play from behind. Klizan certainly has been a good money maker lately, although I think I've made more since they started making him slight favorites in these matches vs. underdog.

Interesting stat on Klizan.....in a period of just 7 months, he's risen from #121 to a career high #46 currently. Also, he plays strong deep in tourneys.....4-1 record in ATP Challenger Tour finals this year.

The kid has been bringing his top game when it counts deep in tourneys.

Neither one of these guys deserve to win. This was a step below women's tennis.

Got to think 6 to 1 or higher. Seppi was +200 and Klizan was +160 depending on when you got the line.

Oh and look at that Youzhny breaks him back with no fight. Step below women's tennis.
