Have to confess, not a clue how this goes. You have to worry about Monf's injury - hasn't bitten him so far, but was only a week ago he was saying it was 50/50 he would pull out.

These courts are also playing like slowish hard courts, so their last meetings on hard probably aren't a bad guide.

And that with Roddick winning! I know nothing of tennis! I see Roddick ranked higher but yet he is a dog? TO me that doesn't make sense! Even after Roddick winning the last 2 matches and Monfs injury being brought up and yet he is still favored? I'm just not to sure on that aspect either!

Monfils is favored because of the surface. Roddick is not an adept clay court player to this point in his career and until Andy beats someone with a pulse at RG this year, he should be an underdog.

Same as every day at the French. One or two matches get suspended. It will start. They have been playing until about 3:30pm ET on most days before calling it on darkness, unless it is unusually dark earlier.

Monfils looks fit. He's mixing his shots well and all he had to do was get the one break and he made Roddick pay. Roddick will benefit from the suspension of play whenever it comes.

I really loved how the has-been commentators were hatin on Monfils for getting the crowd pumped up. He was entertaining, and exactly what a sport lacking a transcendent star needs.

II bet $300 to win $200. I'm taking all of that and putting it on Monfils against Federer. Federer is vunerable against anyone on Clay. We should get a really nice line, and Monfils should be the Underdog. Congrats to all who knew beforehand that Roddick is yesterdays trash.
