Impossible. In %99 of books, first set must be completed in order to bets stand. Some books even require whole 2 sets to be completed! Which bookie you use?

This was with partybets. Would you please help me understand this:

If they use this rule:
1.) 2-way bets: In a tennis match that ends with one of the players retiring, the “2-way” bet is declared valid as soon as the first ball of the match has been played. For betting purposes, the winner is always the player who is declared the winner by the match referee. The same applies to “Doubles” matches.

Shouldn't a set bet also be valid due to the rule above?. I had a bet with Kerber winning 2-0. She wins the first and the opponent retires after 3 games in the second set.

Even though they have this:

3.) A set/game/tie-break is deemed to have taken place as soon as its first ball has been played but the outcome of the set/game/tie-break is not decided before the set/game/tie-break is completed.

Ive read that rule three times and I still can't understand how it doesn't sound like BS.

The support is now saying this about the set-bet: If the match referee declared Kerber the winner in the second set the bet should be valid. Is there any way to look if this happened? It was the game on 30/7 Kerber Vs Cetkovska P. (Cze)
