    50 to win 30.

Seems like another sure thing safe play, but I think Azarenka is a safer play than Ferrer at almost the same odds

    "azarenka and safety " ???
That is 10 times more contradictory than "any WTA player and safety"
She may get injuries even while sleeping.

well....we survived Federer and Djoker losing the first sets...it looks like we are gonna have to do the same again with Murray.

  7. #7

I figured Murray would win in front of his own fans. Would be a bad loss.

Murray pulls out 2nd set 6-1 now serving up 3-2.

i have a bad feeling this is all for not and Ferrer is gonna fawk us.

Stop thinking negatively. Be positive. It's out of your control. Ferrer and Nishikori will decide this.

They may not finish today, though. If they don't move this match to another court and Lisicki-Sharapova goes three sets, I don't see how they squeeze this one in today. Even a two setter is going to cause problems for Ferrer/Nishikori because every game is going to deuce.

The guy in charge needs to find an open court for Ferrer and Nishikori and let them play today. Screw playing on a TV court. The networks have plenty of other matches to show.

are they even going to get the Ferrer game in? dumb question, what time is it over there?

  17. #17

Unless they put Ferrer-Nishikori on the court that the Hewitt/Stosur doubles team is on now, I'd be surprised if you cash this parlay today.

Another dumb scheduling move at Wimbledon. You'd think that finishing all the singles matches would be their priority, but obviously not if Ferrer and Nishikori are involved ... Those guys better get tomorrow off, aside from finishing the match that begins today, because it's not their fault that the people in charge of this tournament have their heads up their backsides.

would an extra day off give Nishikori more of an edge or not really?

I dont think Ferrer will disappoint us.
He is close to end of his career and this may be the last olympics he would attend as a player
Besides the Spaniard has to represent his flag and country there.
He is No.1 Spaniard for this olympics after Nadal's withdraw due to his traumatic situation rumored to be caused by his itchy pants.

Good news, zoo ... They are moving the Ferrer match to another court ... Court 14, which became available after the conclusion of the Hewitt/Stosur mixed doubles match: http://2012.itftennis.com/olympics/s...-schedule.aspx

There may not be a stream, but they will have a decent chance to finish this today. Here's hoping for a straight setter, so you can cash your bet and all of the singles matches can be played today.

Your bad feeling may prove to be right. lol. Nishikori is destroying him so far. Ferrer can't even hold serve.

I have plenty of respect for Nishikori, but something is seriously wrong with Ferrer and/or this match. I never thought I'd see David Ferrer get bageled ... Of all the players on the tour, he's the last guy you expect to see get bageled.

Oh well. Just have try to get the money back on something else. A shame that he couldn't even put up a fight, though.

You're right. Good David Ferrer has made an appearance and leads the second set 2-0. WTF is going on in this match? lol.

Now I wish they didn't move it, because there's no stream on that court and I can't see what shots these guys are hitting and how they're moving around the court. That definitely would've helped us discover exactly why that first set ended 6-0.

He didn't break. Flashscore lied. Says 3-1 now with Nishikori about to break and probably put this one away.

Either there was a review or flashscore gave the point to the wrong guy. Nothing more annoying than when flashscore makes you think a guy got a break but didn't or that a team scored a goal but didn't.
