Youzhny needs to close him here in the 4th. They won't be able to play the 5th due to the darkness.

Good for you man. I should have parlayed them.

I got my plays worked out for tomorrow early.

Going to parlay 2 low favorites in Kohlschreiber (-160) and Cilic (-235).

Kohlschreiber should school this young kid. I give Rosol all the credit in the world for knocking off Nadal and actually cashed a decent live bet on him at (+373). Kohlschreiber just beat Nadal 2 weeks ago himself. Kohlschreiber is very good on grass and I'm really expecting the public to jump on Rosol thinking it's such a good price at +140 after arguably the biggest upset in Grand Slam history. I am hoping Kohlschreiber will get to the -140 to -150 range and if so will place a straight up bet on him too.

Cilic is too high for me to bet straight up but is really a solid play. Querery's serve can only get him so far. Cilic should be able to neutralize it and actually has a very formidable return game. He's played better servers than Querery on grass and has won.

I also love the price of +140 on Mardy Fish. He couldn't have picked a better draw to get to the quarterfinals if he drawn it up himself. He looks completely healthy and back to his old self to me. Don't underestimate Goffin he's got a world of talent and is a real rising star. I just see this a great opportunity to make some money on a great price. The bookmakers are undervaluing Fish due to health concerns and probably rightly so. I want to take advantage of that. I'm not going to go particularly huge on him because I use 5dimes and just by the slim chance that Fish has to retire they grade it against me.

You haven't steered me wrong.... I agree on the Rasol sentiments too.
IMO, sometimes huge upsets usually don't follow up.

The Kohlschreiber line didn't drop as I was hoping. It's up to -190 now was hopeful that the public would be all over Rosol. That's ok it will still make a nice parlay.

-245 what a jump. People must have pounded Kohlschreiber and rightfully so. That's too high for me for a straight play so I'll just stick to the parlay. It stills pays just a fraction under even money.

I'll be out most of the day tomorrow so won't be able to post so let's try to keep this heater going. Thanks again for the support.

    I just got home and...

Cash Mardy Fish and in straight sets just like I like it.

Kohlschreiber schooled the kid as I expected. I really wish I hadn't been so greedy and just took the straight bet when it opened at -160. I was off in thinking the public was going to back Rosol. It looks like Cilic is trying to make things interesting for us unfortunately after being up 2-0.

He has broken Querrey several times which I was counting on. He has a good return game and he handled Querery's serve for the most part. I was not counting on Querrey constantly breaking back.

  22. #57

Absolutely critical break by Cilic. Handle your business on service and we can cash this parlay finally.

I've really been wishing I just put Del Potro instead in the parlay right for the last hour of this tiebreak lol.

  25. #60

Well I don't know how the heck we did it but we pulled out the parlay to go 2-0 in big posted plays!!!!!!

  26. #61

Wow how's that for a sweat...? Another fine call sir, thanks again for sharing. Now, do i send my heart doctor bill to you directly or to your lawyer?

Figure I should start posting my record if people are going to be tailing:

    Straight plays 5-0
    Tennis only parlays 1-0
    Cross sport parlays 1-2

I was also on Benneteau but I don't know if I should list that on my record I didn't advise anyone to play him I just did it on a lark with some house money and actually almost hit it at +2200. If you want me to count that, I'm 5-1 in straight plays.

    Thanks guys.

  28. #63

That was a crazy long ass match lol !!! I parlayed Kohlschriber @ -250 , Cilic -250 and Fish +155
And cashed good looking out Good2goo2mexico !!!!

I'm putting a play in for Jan Hajek -120 against Andreas Haider-Mauer at a Challenger tomorrow morning 9AM. I saw this guy play a couple times at Challengers and he's a decent low to mid level player at this point in his career. He's no young kid so this is probably the level he's always going to be at. He plays well on clay almost 66% win percentage and he beat AHM a few months ago up one set to a retirement. I saw him beat Radek Stepaneck in straight sets last month too but obviously got to question Stepaneck's motivation at a low level tournament. All said, I think Hajek is worth a reasonably sized play.

It's up to -160 now. 5dimes has a $100 limit on Challenger matches so I had to keep doing individual bets to get the limit I wanted. I got a couple at -120 and the rest at -140.

Good start Hajek wins the 1st 6-2. I wasn't up this morning to see the closing line but I heard in another thread Hajek got all the way up to -200.

Thanks for the heads up on the game, i managed to find a book still hanging -118 just before start.
