Any other surface and Del Potro would be the favorite for sure, but on clay his inexperience has this one as basically a pick 'em. Wawrinka made the finals of this event last year, losing to Djokovic and played fairly even tennis in beating Youzhny & Kunitsyn in the first two rounds. Del Potro struggled against Troicki in his opener, especially with Troicki's serve. Wawrinka has already made one clay court final this year, while Del Potro will be playing just his third clay court match of 2009 when these two meet. DP lost to Ljubicic in Monte Carlo in his first dirt match. If Wawrinka can keep his serve solid, he should have enough to get past the higher ranked player.
