I'm on Jankovic in this match for a whole host of reasons. Jankovic was totally back to her old dominant form in the recent Fed Cup matches in Spain. Also, she blogged to her fans recently that her "smile was back", after spending months fighting off illness and worrying about the health of her mother. With a player that plays with as much emotion as Jelena, I always take note when she is feeling positive about her life outside of tennis as well as her game on the court.

Cibulkova has the great backhand, but Jelena plays with a far superior forehand shot, and she happens to be the defending champ of this tourney. I haven't been high on Cibulkova since her retirement in Charleston against Dementieva. Jelena may take a few games to get dialed in, but once it happens, she won't look back. I'll be surprised if this match even gets to a third set.
