[QUOTE=JNic;15051868]Querrey/Istomin I think would be a real gem to watch here, too bad this is on some outer court... Querrey seems to be regaining his form quickly and Istomin is a grass beast (he had the toughest draws on grass last yr Delpo, Tsonga, beat Kohli, then Mardy Fish)[/QUOTE
I don't think Istomin is that good on grass career 13-10. He struggled against much lesser competition yesterday and had me sweating out a final leg of a parlay. They are 2-2 head to head career and I was actually leaning Querrey pretty big later today.

Dubois takes the first set in a breaker. Finish this skank off.

Thanks. Jinxed myself there. I post that comment on Dubois, and she loses 3 straight games. Probably going to 3.

Dang, stupid WTA man. I'm always tempted to bet it. Hope she pulls it out for you.

He struggled with much lesser competition?? Lol he was playing a serve specialist 6-8 De Schepper on a very fast grass surface and he was never broken... and he won in straights, I don't know how that can possibly be classified as struggling.

Ok so about his 13-10 record, he was an alright player in 2009 right, like 79 in world not yet his breakthrough. He lost to Feliciano Lopez and Tursunov, both very good grass courters and established at time and he ended up getting 3 wins there and losing at Wimbledon to Fognini because of injury.
2010 when he broke through, lost to Nadal at Queens in 3 tight sets. Semis at Eastbourne losing to grass goat GGL and he took out Wawa and Schuettler before losing to Berdych in 5 at wimbledon.
Last year he loses to Delpo, Tsonga, and then faces a deadly Mardy Fish at wimbledon in 2r.

I mean the guy is very good on grass imo, should be a very tight match with Querrey, I thought he would be favorite but I was mistaken

Querrey juiced up to -165. Usually not a good thing when it comes to my bets.

    Adding:

    Czink [+205]

Yeah if reverse line movement holds true to tennis, this is not looking good. He started off at what like -120?

Muller match is frustrating. Not upset by the current score but I haven't seen Dimitrov this strong on serve in a LONG time. And that's saying a lot. Muller down 6-7, 3-3.

Dubois was serving for the match at 5-3 and lost serve. Wouldn't be surprised if she lost 7-5 now. Female players can almost never mentally recover from blowing a chance to serve it out, from my observations.

  12. #432

Dang, hopefully querrey pulls it out for you today.

Great hit against the line movement. I ended up going big and I stick with my original assertion that Istomin is not good on grass.

Well, Querrey and the parlay hit. Dubois had like 40 chances and blew it, and Muller loses. Czink @+200 for a profitable day, coming up in Birmingham in a minute. Banking on the chance that Hantuchova is super rusty from not playing in a long while, and their previous encounters have been close.

Well, Czink takes the first set 7-5 but is down a break. Darkness should set it now and they'll likely finish it tomorrow. For the record, almost every WTA match I've bet on this week...the player I bet on takes the first set and drops the next 2. Hopefully Czink changes this trend, but something tells me probably not.

I like Nalbandian myself. I try to tell myself not to bet on him anymore but it seems like a great value against a relatively inexperienced and untested opponent on grass.

Arvidsson hit @ +175 but Hsieh retired and Safarova is likely to win but not cover. Rod/Que on now, looking for the under.

Pironkova-Paszek ... talk about your Wimbledon dark horse previews. Pironkova in particular has been pretty useless most of the year the last two years, but shown up large @ Wimbledon.

I remember Paszek starting a decent run of form this time last year. Something about this time of year + grass courts gets her going. We'll see.
