Exclamation Sportsbetting.com users file complaints

SBR Mailbag: Sportsbetting.com (SBR rating C-) users file complaints

Three players report being slow-paid by SportsBetting.com with one player reporting waiting since March. "$1,512 has been requested 2-3 times per month, since March of 2007 - nothing but excuses, no payment. My responses are exactly the same each and every time. We will investigate and get back to you. Never." Sportsbetting blames previous service provider, Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-), which handled payouts until November. Sportsbetting has pursued these matters with their former banking department. Players also complain that the book has not replied to emails, has not had a phone number since November, and LiveChat is often backed up with as many as 20 users in the queue. Two players have recently submitted payment requests under the new system and have offered to allow SBR to monitor the withdrawal process.

Not that I would EVER back this book/group. But I received a 2500 check payout from this skin in about 2 weeks from request last month.

That being said: this group is garbage, should not be trusted, and still owes me a ton.

Thanks GB. If it was in Nov. it was a Sportsbook.com processor check. That is still good news. We wanted to let other readers know what SB players were experiencing since the book went software-only, doing its own CS and processing. They may be right in thinking that having no phone number is better than using the Jazette CS but it's been a rough start on their own. The lingering issues from Jaz do not help.

Why would anyone play with a C, D or F rated sportsbook?

In this case it has a lot to do with slam-dunk marketing with the URL. Sportsbetting.com, a Sportsbook.com and the infamous BetOnSports.com could get players by accident. Thankfully many of the players who do take a hit use SBR and other means to shorten the learning curve for the next guy.

Sportsbetting ultimately has a chance to do very well and grow out of Sportsbook.com. They shouldn't have made this big transition without replacing the Jazette phone number with their own. It's a bad time to lose communication with your players. Here is the latest player report...

Quote:
Description: No return of emails (three emails sent since last Friday December 8th) regarding the status of my USD $2,000.00 withdrawal request made on December 2nd, after the initial email acknowledging my withdrawal request stated that I would receive another email when my withdrawal had been processed. When I finally talked with a customer service rep (Wednesday December 12th) via their live chat (Their phone system is still (inopt) being upgraded, I was told that their system to access customer accounts was down. Today, (December 13th) when I talked with their customer service via live chat I was told again that their system was down. I then pressed the issue and they quickly changed their tune and told me that their system just came back up and their rep first said that my withdrawal request had been processed on Wednesday December 4th, then quickly advised me that it was processed on Friday December 7th and not December 4th. They also went on to tell me that I 'should' get my funds by December 21st. Might I say that December 21st is (15) fifteen business days since I made my withdrawal request, not their posted promise to pay within 7 to 10 business days. I am sharing my experience with Sportsbetting.com with your site because I just read on your SBR homepage that others were having slow pay or no pay problems with www.sportsbetting.com. Thanks for your time and interest...

Just FYI, my own personal experience has been numerous timely payments over the past few months, about 5 in the 1000-1500 range. A couple within a week.

Thanks punch.

Its hit or miss with these guys. But when you get a miss, it takes forever for these guys to get it right. If you got a problem there good luck because they dont care.

UPDATE:

SportsBetting (SBR rating C-) player who has been waiting for $1,510 since March received his check yesterday. Sportsbetting management tells SBR a second slow-paid player has also been sent his payment. SBR is currently monitoring new five-figure withdrawal requests.

I have two pending withdrawls which they claim to have been sent via Fed Ex. They tell me to allow 7-10 business days. Tomorrow marks the 10th business day. Fed Ex doesn't have anything in their system going to my address as of yet. How long is it really taking for their customers to get paid? How about their phone lines. I don't get it?

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum crinkle

Boy, Even after they leave the Jazette support system last month, they are still having some major issues pouring in lately.

If you are in need of some assistance with this problem. Please fill out this complaint form and one of us will inquire to them on your behalf.

Yes, me too but that was when they were on the same system as sportsbook.com. I've received a couple emails and had live chats which I've been told emphatically that Fed Ex has my check and not to worry. "Your money is safe"

Well Fed Ex doesn't have any information and DHL can't research anything in their system without a tracking number.

I'm going to give it one more day and then likely fill out a complaint.

How much pull does SBR have at these books which are having issues?

Well 7-10 business days have elapsed and still no sign of the check. Fed Ex claims to have nothing in their system heading to my address. I've confirmed my address with sportsbetting.com and they continue to insist both checks are in route. I think it's BS. I've requested a tracking number. If no number on Monday I'm filing a complaint.
