stay away from betphoenix unless you like assholes and phonecalls
Out of spite and frustration i feel it is necessary to warn all of you of a bad sportsbook that continues to have it's issues with no resolve... i give you BetPhoenix.
They don't accept **, so the pain of a **/** deposit has to be made.
They require you to call back in order to receive your promotion, which is frustrating because you never talk to the same individual. so after giving them your information for the 99th time, they'll finally give you your freeplay..... if the remember. i've had to call back multiple times due to this issue
One agent will tell you one thing, while another agents contradicts their points. I was told that i qualified for a $50 freeplay due to a recent transaction from one agent, and if i deposited a specific amount i could receive the same 40% bonus and 50$ freeplay if i deposited again. so i did, however i never received the initial freeplay and was told in a very aggressive way by "aaron/alan" that the website says blah blah blah. I asked him at the end of his rant if he was used to talking with assholes due to his very defensive and angry tone. he quickly hung up and said, "have a good day friend". i wasn't aware of our friendship.
Payouts are a pain in the ass with these guys. you absolutely have to call them and spend close to an hour to get a ***** completed with all your information. it might only take half that time if the people on the other line actually spoke english, but unfortunately being offshores thats a hard commodity to come across these days. after they leave the money in your account for "verification" purposes for anywhere from 24-48 hours, they'll finally take it out and have a ***************** sent to you. I will say that the shipping was surprising quick, but the fact that it took so long for the funds to move was really frustrating besides me spelling the word "texas" 22 times when giving my address.
Lastly, i will finish with this... they call incessantly regardless of the hour from ************** if you call back you will not be able to contact them as this is a VOIP conference call that is funneled through different phone lines. they'll leave a voicemail asking you to come back, or send you multiple emails. i asked to be removed for their call list so we shall see how well that works out. considering that i am at work or in class with the inability to answer my phone at 11:45 in the afternoon, this gets annoying. and from an advertising prospective, calling when most people are at work and unable to pick up a phone is just in poor taste and execution.
I know many of these problems exists with different sportbooks to varying degrees, but do yourself a favor and do not deposit or sign up with these guys. the flood gates will open up, and the tumultuous amounts of hassle will push you to ultimately seek another site... one hopefully not affiliated with betphoenix.
