How Can I Bet At Pinnacle
Not sure if this has been discussed or not, just looking for a practical way to wager at pinnacle, where I've placed thousands of wagers up until they made it a problem for US residents.
any practical advice appreciated
thanks

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir
There are ways around the restrictions, however thats something you need to find out on your own. Because the ones that are playing there still are very secretive about how to go about doing it. My advice would be to play at Matchbook, because thats the next best thing for U.S. players at this time IMO.

Some claim to open bank accounts & PO BOX in Canada and use proxy servers to bet..... but I don't believe it since the cost would outweight the benefits.

bigboydan,
figured it would be perfected after about a year of restriction. i do use mb, but they just don't have the soccer and tennis which had been profitable for me.
also like to arb and pinnacle is a must. the restriction is bs. if i knew somebody out of country that i trusted it would probably work, but unfortunately i don't have that option at this time
thanks
if anybody can help with a serious yet practical solution, please email me turkstock<at>yahoo<dot>com

I am a US based player. I believe I have figured out how to be able to play at Pinnacle. But it's not worth the hassle for me. Cost isn't really the problem, though. Unless you were really making money with soccer, tennis, and or other sports I just recommend playing at Matchbook.
Isn't it great to be a citizen of "The Land of the Free"?
If you really want to be able to play at Pinnacle put on your thinking cap and google "proxy servers" and/or "privacy tunnell". With some thought you should be able to figure it out.

Pinnacle requires a copy of a gov't issued ID and a utility bill as proof of residence in your new country.

Betting there is one thing, How you plan on getting paid if you win? they won't be sending you checks to a US address, its just a waste of time and a big hassle.

Are Americans even allowed to open a Canadian P.O. Box unless they're resident aliens or duel citizens? That would only work if you lived on the boarder and could take an easy trip to the land of bacon, maple syrup, and canola.

The book to book transfer really isn't an easy option. The book on the receiving end has requirements before you can withdrawal. In most cases it's a 1x roll over. That won't help you much.

i appreciate the effort. I figured that after about a year of pergatory there would be a lock solid system to do this. freinds and family would be fine, i just don't have that option with anyone i trust.

The secret to your problem is getting the funds transferred to a foreign bank account and then use your ATM card for withdrawal....which means you need a foreign bank acount and the associated crap that goes with that. Forget it.

I do it all the time, it just means I have to put my money in in pounds which means if I want to bet $500 I send my uk bank £250.

I lived in the UK for 25 years. Obviously I have UK bank accounts with betting accounts linked to those accounts. If I win I send the money back to the uk account and draw it off here at the atm. It works for me because the infrastructure was in place before I came here. I bet with my uk info and the money is paid into a uk account. I think my point is, unless you want to move it is a pain in the ass that you have to live with.

Turkstock, if playing at Pinnacle is of the utmost importance to you, having a trusted friend or relative living outside the US would be a godsend.

Exactly. And taking it one step further, if it REALLY REALLY is THAT important, move to Canada for a month, rent an appartment and open a bank account. Problem solved.

But on a serious note, if you know anyone in the military, the US currently has 116,400 military personnel from all four services assigned to its european command in 93 countries. They bet at Pinny..............

I agree completely, it is a waste of time but I think some people wouldn't mind betting with them just to get one over on the system.
