    Exclamation Betway slow-paying players

Betway (SBR rating F) slow-paying players
The sportsbook, which has confiscated funds and cheated players out of winnings, is slow paying two SBR readers. Both players are waiting for Moneybookers payments initially requested in late May and early June. Betway has claimed that it had sent the funds via Moneybookers to one player but the e-wallet returned the funds back to them. Betway displays a familiar pattern of a book in financial trouble, first looking for reasons to recover winnings from sharp players, and later stalling and making slow-pay excuses.

Player: They went on to say I hadn't logged in to [SBRFORUM]Moneybookers[/SBRFORUM], so MB returned the money to them. I had logged into MB, and regardless, that is not MB policy.
My second withdrawal initiated on June 28th was returned to my account on July 17th stating "We're emailing you to follow up on your inquiry of July 07. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication, we did not manage to notify you that on July 17 your withdrawal was sent back to us by Moneybookers in a timely manner. According to Moneybookers, the email address you specified for your withdrawal (**********@hotmail.com) has not been registered with us. The funds were returned to your [SBRFORUM]Betway[/SBRFORUM] account and are now at your disposal. In order to enable you to correct your payment details we have also reset your withdrawal options, so you will be able to specify your Moneybookers email address again

It doesn't look good for Betway users. Run, don't walk. It hasn't been a very good year or so for Malta's LGA either.

Im surprised at this and with the F rating for Betway. I requested a payout on the 23rd July and it was in my Moneybookers account on the 24th July.

    Citlec,

I'm glad you got paid. I hope you are right - if they resolve these slow-pay issues, they might see D- territory. As is though, the whole picture looks like a book going under, and I think "F" is appropriate.

For me D- is better than F.
Because i believe my funds are still mine and not in Scam bookmaker .I receive payout on 23st too and about last case maybe player wrote wrong him email adress.
But anyway Betway should really resolve this too many complaints in last time if they want to recover their reputation.I see betway have good traffik rank and the site is one of most visited in last few months.

This is just my experience: I turn over about 1K a day at BetWay and request about 1 withdrawal a week with no problems. It is with a heavy heart I am going to take your advice and no longer play there.

It's a bad sign when a book that has had to scam winners begins to slow-pay. This book is wasting its chance to scam players in the future by delaying confirmed payments. They may settle in at D- but this is a familiar pattern as of late from Malta books like BetChance. If you are still working them over, it's time to leave.

FWIW: I do have 2 credible posters who have reported payouts from BetWay during the month of July.

Due to SBR's recommendation I have two times in the last week requested a moneybookers withdrawal from Betway. Both of these withdrawals were equivalent of about 2100 $, which is the maximum I could withdraw at a time.

Both of these withdrawals arrived after short time, and I am therefore puzzled that Betway are slowpaying some players.

I know that a book should not be rated on how it treats the players it like, but on how it treats the players it does not like.

I just feel there is more to this story. Why are Betway slowpaying these particular two players, while paying out lots of others?

    It seems strange.
