Default Sportsbook.com Update

Remove this thread if it is out of line. Grabbed it off another forum (user has 500+ posts) since I still have money in this book.

"Fellas....for what it's worth, I just hung up with a sportsbook rep. I asked the rep for an update on my pending payment withdrawal requests which total over $11,000 and he stated that "Sportsbook.com has a new option for VIP players." The new option for payment withdrawal is for clients to receive a Sportsbook issued Visa debit card. The rep stated that we have to fax our drivers license along with a utility bill and we need to write our sportsbook acct # on the fax. The fax number is 800-201-4919. Once they receive the information, Sportsbook will send us a Visa debit card in which we are allowed to use for deposits and withdrawals. The withdrawals will supposedly work at any U.S. banking atm. I've heard enough bullshit from these *********** over the last few months but this resolution sounds a bit promising.....we'll see."

Their handling of this has been putrid to say the least. My .02: they are stalling because they have more bad news. I am in the same boat as everyone waiting to get paid. It has been one story after another. I have just decided to give my blood pressure a rest because they are immune to reason, logic, etc. What a lesson in "there really is no free lunch."

Has anyone had any success with the debit card method? It's now actually posted on the site as a legit method. I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet.

Default EFT or Bank Wire

Sportsbook says they will only send bank wires of $5000 or more according to all postings. What about EFT transfers into checking accounts for less. They approved me and then at the 10 day mark they took funds and placed them back into account. Any opinions on the two methods?

This is making me ill. I use mysportsbook.com, which is part of sportsbook and I have never had problems with their payouts but I DO have a HUGE problem with their customer service. Anyway all these posts are making me ill because I was so tired of their crap I withrdrew my money, I did get an email saying that the bank wire did process and it will take 10-15 business to receive the funds. With the posts going around here I am really getting ill. I hope they come through again. But I will NOT go back because of all their GRADING and Customer Service issues - TERRIBLE!!!!!

Default Good question

Hey, I thought they would be the same (EFT and Bank Wire) but I was apporved for an EFT for less than $5000 and thought it was because it was going into my checking account instead of to a savings account or "special wire" account number that you could pick up at your bank. The only time I wired any money was to set up a stock account. I didn't think about it going into checking or savings. So I don't know if there is a difference. Just know I was approved for less that $5000 and then it was put back into my account. Seems like a company could move any amount via EFTs....
