I called up The Greek if I can make a $30k deposit and they took the deposit. When I called them up later to make a bet of $30k on the game they won't allowed it. They told me if I wanted to bet on a different game for $30k they would take the bet. Why won't they just let me put $30k on the game I want and not what they want.

they might do it on Playoff game. They probably had to much action on side you wanted to bet but that is an awfull lot to bet on one game in the cyber world. You best also be aware of max net win you esp if u do parlays. Fly buddy out to Vegas for day w/ no hotel cost you less the $600 and no worry about getting paid...

It depends what sport you are betting on limits are much higher in the NFL than the NBA.

If I ran a book and had a new customer fund 30k to his account and then want to lay the entire 30k on one game, I would also decline the bet.

Now if you deposit 200k and you want to wager 30k your 1st time out, I might consider accepting that one.

What game were you trying to bet. And how do you get up that much in the casino in 7 minutes with 100 limits on the table games?

Not on a single wager, but over a period of like 5 minutes you should be able to get that 30k down on the game you want. You can place successive bets for the max amount. When the line changes, you can bet the max again. If the line does not change, you have to wait maybe a minute or so and then you can place the max again. Rinse and repeat! Even if the line moves a bit you should still get fairly good odds overall. You probably know this but it may not be obvious to people not too familiar with sportsbooks.

Its all about how much the book wants to be exposed on a certain line. They may need the wager as well to even the money out.

30K is a big sum.
If you want bet so many dollars in a single bet, probably you must use a betting exchange book.
