I know nothing about Betsafe. Admiral has a good offer for soccer and tennis - you can also bet live. But the focus of this Bookie is offline business (betting shops).

Sometimes the support iss really strange - but at the end i can say it´s a good Book. Important for most SBR users might be: Admiral does not accept punters from USA and Canada (also punters from other countries which ban international betting).

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir

Admiral Sports Betting (UK) Limited is a subsidiary of the Austrian company Admiral Sportwetten AG. Admiral (Not Rated) has been around since 1991 and is Austria’s market leader in the branch betting business with roughly 130 betting cafes at this time.

There website layout seems pretty vanilla and they mainly focuses on Football, but you can bet any other sport you want of course. Sports include Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Tennis, Golf, Handball, ect, ect.

Betsafe (Not Rated) is Licensed and regulated in Costa Rica since 2002 and primarily targets the Scandinavian market action on including winter sports, handball, floorball, tennis, soccer, ect, ect. Also, this establishment uses the Tain and CTXM software for it's poker, casino and sports wagering needs.

I'll say one thing about Betsafe. They sure do keep a very low profile, but they seem to answer there emails fairly quickly (roughly an hour). Now as far as any outstanding complaints and processing issues go. I haven't read of any in the SBR archives at all, so hopefully other posters will share there experiences.

Betsafe have a nice website, good range of bets, ok limits ........ until you win. I staked $450 and $100 at around evens, won em both, then $90ish at 4.6. When that won, I found max bet stakes were suddenly $20 everywhere.

They were fairly quick on the withdrawal.

No delays that I recall, although of course most of my attempts at stakes were met with increasingly silly limits instead, so no real need to delay.

This all dates from March though, they may have got better/worse. I lasted all of a week before giving up and pulling my funds.

If you plan on betting anything more than 50$ there it is waste of time to try BetSafe. As HeeHAWWWW said it takes 2 to 3 bets to get your limits down to 20$ area. Unless, of course, you make bets at worse than market average prices.

Hi,

After my limit went down to 0.63ct I had the following email exchange with Betsafe:

----------------------------------------------------------

Dear Betsafe,

Recently you have lowered the amount of money I am allowed to wager on sports.

I understand that you probably don't want me to play at betsafe anymore, but the limits have been set so low that it is virtually impossible for me to at least try and get my balance to 30€, which is the minimum amount needed to ask for a withdrawal to moneybookers.

Would it be possible to either increase the limit a little bit, so I have a fair chance of trying to earn the 30€ to make a withdrawal, or cancel my last bet and send my remaining balance to my moneybookers account?

Kind regards,

APK
------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

Our risk-managers is regulating this subject and it's determined by several reasons and can vary from match to match. The limit accepted on our website will be the final for the respective betting-offer.

Best regards,

Hi,

Is it then possible that I deposit some more money in my account so I have a balance of over 30€ so I can withdraw it to moneybookers?

Kind regards,

APK
------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

I didn't get an answer to my last email (see below) and now I read this on the betsafe site:

15 minutes support warranty
If we haven't responded you in 15 minutes, we'll give you 10 EURO

Kind regards,

APK

No answer.

Thumbs up

I did get an answer after all:

Quote:
Hello,

You will always get an answer, but if you read about our 15 min warranty you will see that it is only valid for e mails sent to support@betsafe.com. Anyway, the answer that was provided to you was pretty bad so we have decided to compensate you with 12 euro. We only lower limits to customers that consistently bet on arbitrage objects.

I have now cancelled your last bet and you are free to withdraw you balance at any time.

Mvh / Best regards,

Christer Lavold

Product Manager

At least they gave you a direct answer on the subject sir.

BTW, Did you ever experience any type of time delays/timeouts while playing there at all? If so I'd be curious to know about them.

Hi, I've made three withdrawals there.
In total about 1100€, never had any problems.

Edit: Or did you mean delays while placing a bet?
Never had that problem either...

Thank you for answering my questions sir.

When did you receive those payouts. Were they fairly recently?

I made my first deposit in July, so all withdrawals were last month.
The withdrawal of the last 30€ just came in, about 10 minutes after I requested it.

Pity they limit players that soon, cause they had some pretty nice soccer-odds every now and then.

It always sucks that happens, however I think we all know why they cut your limits.

I don't know admiral but I would say that Betsafe is an excellent recrational player bookie. Nice odds, prompt payment, excelent CS.

For not so recreational ones, it's a matter of time till you get limited to 1 euro

Default betsafe..."safe" to bet there

I have an account at Betsafe for years, and I sometimes place bets there. During the EURO2008, I played there often...

I made 4 outpayments in 10 days by the time of the EUR2008, and all of them was paid out to moneybookers in less than 12 hours (all withdrawal were between 100-200 EUR-s)

The support always answered my emails in less than 15 minutes, and as I heard, they very rarely miss this 15 mins time limit, and they do pay the compensation money promoted in the webpage if they miss this deadline.

The only negative thing I can say about them, that a few months ago, I had some problem with a delayed moneybookers outpayment. They said they had a technical problem, which is the reason of the delay....I received my outpayment after 4 days. But this is only 1 from abt. 10 withdrawals, and all other was processed fast, without any trouble, and all bookmakers can have technical problems sometimes.

I often hear about them, that they limit users very fast, still, I haven't met this problem yet, although I won a decent ammount of money from them.

All in all, I recommend them, tho' if they really limit users this fast....that's another tale...
