Default Is this the end for Sportsbook.com???

A rumor must of been started somewhere. This question is being asked by email and PM's.

The slow pays started back again in April. They are in absolute official chaos right now. This was a book with terrible customer service even in the best of times. They pay the lowest wages and have the highest employee turnover.

They could have lost a few million dollars because of a processor as has been specualted, doubtful imo but not impossible. They certainly lost processing ability.

Is it the end? No. Players will be paid imo. The problem has always been they just don't care. They got a very serious problem but they will get to it when they get to it. Hopefully by the time football starts everyone will be paid...just in time to start this cycle all over again.

You're full of sh*t John...

I can't believe how quickly people forget... Take a strole through last years "Sportsbook.com withdraw delays" thread and you'll see people saying the same sh*t.... You of all people should know better then to jump to conclusions...

I think I made it clear they are back in slow pay mode again. And made it clear they just dont care. With that said, I don't think they are going out of business.

Feel free to explain which statements I made that you feel are incorrect.

I'm getting shafted here... How come I only work for SBoo and not CWoo or TONY'S ...the other books I stand up for...

I am outspoken about them here because I get irritated at how blantly full of sh*t SBR is about Sportsbook.com... They don't rip other books the same way like Bodog who just HAPPENS to be on their 2500 a month payroll...

What's odd is I or posters are accused by posters like yourself of being paid by the books because we stick up for them but those same posters just over look the obvious which is SBR IS GETTING PAID BY BOOKS so why wouldn't you accuse them of the same act..? You don't have to assume if SBR is getting paid.. YOU KNOW THEY ARE and you know which ones are and which ones are not...

You just seem to care an abhorrent amount about a book 95% of people on these type of forums already know is shady.

Either you're obsessive compulsive and have somehow convinced yourself that you need to defend them to the hilt, you have a large balance there and are trying to keep the money flowing to get paid, or you have some other reason, but whatever it is, it's wasted effort.

I also care about my view on 9-11 but no one is talking about me being paid by anyone there and I'm not going to change anything there either... Talk about a wasted effort...

I have zero in there right now but regardless of what these douches say on here I am posting up this fall for football...

SBR ratings mean d*ck to me...

I think sportsbook just having some issues with slow pay out to the players, but in many case I still think that sportsbook will never rip off the money from the players,
if you have to look into their Poker room, there are always full fill of players and some actions very big as well. if they just take the Rakes only and good enough to pay out any other cost as they want.

if Sportsbook really want to fix their issues with slow pay out, they can beat any of the books in the market except Bodog.

IMO I think Sportsbook.com sees the trend and is making a move to implement Debit Cards... It is the perfect alterative actually and I can see it's catching on... They are making changes... but we'll see what they are in time...

let's pretend sportsbook don't want to do this business any more, and they want to sell it to any other party out there.
how many million dollars do you thinks and who would be interested in?
my guest is many many millions of dollars and ton of people will jump in to buy.
so what the reason sportsbook will let it gone with the wind?
I can't find the answer at all.

You're an absolute idiot, Shams, and obviously a losing handicapper. The A+, NUMBER 1 quality that a winning handicapper MUST HAVE from a book is reliability in getting paid. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Jazette does everything it can wrong in this regard, short of stiffing its clientele. They provide ABSOLUTELY NOTHING out of the ordinary that benefits a player compared to most of the quality books out there. You wouldn't care about their slowpays and the possibility of a no pay with them because you never have the opportunity to make a withdrawal. Of course a losing bettor like yourself would have no qualms with Sportsbook. If you actually had any handicapping skills and had a six figure balance in limbo with them, your story might change. But you are small time and always will be so your opinion really means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Shams the SBR rating on Sportsbook.com has proven to be accurate and continues to be. There have easily been thousands of players who have seen their D- and been spared the horror that many players have been put through with them.

What would you rate this book? They have had numerous stealing incidents, massive slow pays, the worse cs in sportsbook history, the highest turnover rate of employees, they pay the lowest wages in the industry and they just dont care. So what kind of grade do you give a book like that?

SB.com is now a pyramid scheme. They will fix their payout problem by FB season, just in time to attract new money. Then they'll steal from their most profitable bettors later in the season. That's their business model.

I've got a dime tied up in Linesmaker, pending payout since July 1st. Joy.

I'll give it one more week just for another reason then I'll be forced to cancel payout and scalp it out.

Yeah new gambler are popping up everyday, just like people turning 18 everyday. So places that market their Ads well like sportsbook.com will always have a large customer base. While better recreational books like Youwager or Looseline will have to work extra harder to retain or gain new players.

Their management used to be more responsive to SBR complaints. Now it is like tag where you email one and they don't respond. Then you email another on the list, just trying to find someone who will communicate with you on player issues.

The recreational Sportsbook.com players would probably make it out. If the group was to fold the hardest hit players would be those with other Sportsbook.com-serviced books. It's common for these guys to cherry pick through and leave other players out in the cold. When Sportsbook.com acquired the PlayersTime Group they picked up the books with the best brands and the most players with lowest balances. Bigger account holders at poorly named sites were stiffed and these lesser sites disappeared. The most recent example is Futurebet/Igaming. When Oddsmaker.com and BetOnUSA bought in they stiffed a lot of players and most licensees.

What's the deal with the BetUSA upgrade to B-?

Do they have separate processing from sportsbook.com? If sportsbook.com folds, will they be in a position to continue?

Yes, there are a handful of large volume books on the platform that could pick up and move overnight that are also working independent processing methods. Linesmaker and Sportsbetting.com are two others that should be able to weather whatever happens to the group. Sportsbetting.com has already taken its processing requests in to its hands but has had substantial problems of its own.

We are monitoring the processing situation. If we receive one complaint from a BetUSA player who is not offered a alternate withdrawal option BetUSA would be downgraded.

It would not be a good sign if BetUSA is also in a 2 month mode.

With football coming up fast one has to wonder if these books with chronic processing issues will spiral down? There are a strong handful of A and A+ books that have the processing figured out. They will get stronger and the slow payers will fade away.

Most of my comments are opinion based on knowing this group and their past history. Certainly there is no secret chatter in CR and no one has disclosed anything off the record that I'm aware of.

I wouldnt be suprised if they did close and run...people are asking for more payouts in this crap economy and online sportsbooks are showing their true colors...sportsbook.com has been obviously bad for a long time now but some people still use them...I waited almost 6 months the last time they had "processor" problems and never used them again...
