I have not used their book in years since their lines suck and their payouts have been way slow in the past. Anyways I entered the sbr poker tourney and needed my account number. I could not remember my ALL IMPORTANT ACCOUNT NUMBER I spent an hour yesterday speaking with Betshitty customer service over 2 phone calls trying to get them to give me my account number. After the first call they could not locate my account number so I tried to register for a new account. Their site said I could not open a new account since there was a similiar one on file. I called them back and once again asked for my account number. They could not locate my account. The amazing thing is I have not moved in 18years and my phone number has been the same since 1994

Since SBR poker requires your account number before the tourney starts I PM'd Sam and notified him of my problem.

I played the tournament came in 3rd and won $60. At that point I called Betshitty back and bitched enough until I got a manager on the phone. For whatever reason she found my account and gave me the number. I PM'd Sam with the number late last night. Lou tells me today that do to the rules I will not receive my prize. I understand the rules but this a freaking freeroll.
I would think that given the PM trail and that I was trying to get my account number but Betshitty was unable to locate it that an exception would be made.

Thanks for the understanding and excellent service. Hey Lou - Since you were of no help to me hopefully you will use the $60 to buy a gift for a needy child.

I understand rules are rules but give me a freaking break. I did everything in my power to get SBr the account number. You would think I was counting cards.

I missed the part where you actually recovered you BetJM account. I know I lost mine once and my old email that I no longer used was the factor needed to recover it.

No worries. I just had to vent a little. I am over it. If SBR needs $60 from a free roll tourney than they got bigger issues to live with. Karma can be a bitch!

I hear you Harlee but thats kinda of the point. I never had a cause. I politely stated my point. From moment one Lou was not going to give me the loot. I disagree completely but I respect his decision. As I said if SBR needs the $60 I respect that. I mean no disrespect to Lou. Unfortunately, some folks seem to believe that if you disagree with their logic you are insulting them. I was dead serious with my comment about needy children. This world is full of them. Lou took this as an insult and turned my points off. It's his show. If he feels that is justice than I am cool with it. The deal is I believe anyone in their right mind would ask why an exception could not be made. I could give a crap about BetJamaica or what they think. That is my right. If Lou wants to ban me or turn my points off because I am stating the facts of my experience with them than I am cool with that too. The beautiful thing about a free market is competition. We all have other options. Once again, I love this site and I would hope I could state that I think Lou's decision sucks and is not very considerate of one of his members without being banned or have his points turned off!

I had 2 payouts in 1996(i realize this was year one) that took over 2 months.

When was the tourney announced? I think it was on Monday. Its a freeroll that was put on by the generosity of this site and BetJam. The rule said prior...you did not submit it prior. Every MF thinks that their situations are special. That when the rules are applied to them that they are screwed.

The rule was clear, and it cost you nothing.

Garner some humility and you should actually apologize for this unjust rant.

Is that guy really complaining about Bet Jamaica, the best book there is? And the payouts were slow 14 years ago..... yet, you won't deal with them now cause of it? I'm pretty sure its you that the problem is... not Lou and not Bet Jamaica.

You are right. I lost my mind for a while. I really should not be making broad brush claims on a book I used 14yrs ago. I should have let it go. Please accept my apologies.

SBR does not bend the rules for the prizes in the poker tournamnets.

A few weeks ago I accidently gave Sam my BOL # instead of the Greek #. They wouldn't give me my prize after this was discovered the following day even though I have given them all my #'s to all the sportsbooks about a million times over the last couple of years! It wasn't like I was trying to pull a fast one on them!

Sounds to me like there is no reason to be a sbr pro if they won't even help them.
