Default Stiffed by a SBR "C", Gamblerspalace...

    For $2574.00.

I first started playing here May 14th.

Been a dog and pony show since, and now they refuse to pay.

They told me to deposit via C&B, so I put $500.00 into C&B.

After I did that, C&B wasn't able to transfer to Gambler's Palace for whatever reason. So Gambler's Palace told me to deposit $500.00 through ****, which I did, they approved it.

And then, for whatever reason, they never took the money out of my **** account. I have no record of it coming out, I assumed they were in the process of processing it, but they never did.

They have no record of it being turned down. We can use bank cards for gambling here in Canada, I have before and since.

Now they won't pay me since they claimed "they never had the money". I maintain I gambled in good faith, assuming they had processed my transaction, and never said anything further about it.

They just figured out today that they never processed my deposit, five weeks after they approved it. I don't think this is my fault, once it was approved I assumed it would come out eventually.

I would recommend everyone stay far far away from this stiff outfit. If anyone at SBR has any pull there, you have my forever thanks for getting me my money back.

If you can't help, at least gives these incompetent stiffs a "F" to help keep other (fools like me) away.....

    Hi Peep,

I have your complaint. Based only on hearing your side I would agree that the onus would be on them. Unlike a *************** where it has to clear, the sportsbook gives you the balance at the point of sale when it is a CC purchase. Let's see what they have to say. GP has been eager resolve disputes over the past year or two.

    Thanks, did.

I don't honestly know what I am to do about a book to make them process my CC after they approve it.

These guys are a bunch of jokes though. They didn't want to approve my 7X either, because I used some bets at even money ("our rules say must be at -110") or props for the rollover.

Guess I should have know better once their own recommended money transfer agent (C&B) wouldn't even transfer funds to them.

Good to see you posting here peep, however I'm sorry to see it has to be about a complaint type issue in order to do it.

Hopefully we can get this situation straightened out for you ASAP.

    Hi BBD.

Well, on the bright side, take it as an acknowledgement of my belief in SBR's influence in the industry that I did post it here, rather than MW, Rx, EOG or Covers.

I think you guys might be able to get something done with this bunch. This is the same group that owed you 7K for a few years then finally paid, no? That is the reason I tried them.

Same place and that matter was resolved to my satisfaction Peep. So needless to say they are trying these days from what I can tell. Hopefully Bill can get this matter corrected fairly fast for you.

If I had to guess, someone sees the first failed attempt with the ewallet and that the money stayed with you. Maybe if they see the problem was with the card and a separate attempt it will be charged and winnings will be sent. If you have any documentation of that cc charge send it over. We forwarded your complaint to mgt.

The **** was approved, Gamblers Palace credited my betting account, but then they never processed the approved ****.

They didn't even know they didn't process it till today. I sent you documentation on that, an e-mail dated 1 pm on June 23rd, where they said they would just take the $500 they didn't process off my account, which would have been fine.

But a couple of hours later, they didn't want to pay me at all.

That is when I contacted you.

    Peep,

I am told you will be paid for your wins tomorrow.

There seem to be a separate issue regarding $250bonus and meeting the bonus requirement that we are getting more info on.

dude if you put 500 in and didn't lose it...you should be paid in full. don't give them 500.00 just to get "some" of your winnings. You won as long as you meet rollovers and T&C (terms and conditions) you should be good to go.

Mgt wrote about him not meeting the rollover requirement. I am not sure what those terms were. We are asking if he should get the option to make the types of wagers needed to keep the bonus, prorate it, or deduct it completely if it was for specific types of bets not placed.

It appears not to have anything to do with the main issue. We will find out more.

Thanks Bill, without your help I think I would have been in deep doodoo, as my relationship with the book had broken down.

I do owe them the $500, as it was never taken out of my ****, so my balance owing is $2074, not $2574.

I will post when I get my money. It has been promised to me.

The bonus is a separate issue. I did a 7X as their site says on the bonus requirements on their bonus rules you can read AFTER you sign in, but they have different bonus requirements on the page you see BEFORE you sign in, there it says that props, Moneyline, halftimes (everything I bet lol) does NOT count. So it depends upon where you read as to whether I made my rollover or not.

    Thanks Josh.

Looks like the matter is resolved.

Got this e-mail today from GP.

    Hello Carl,

We resolved your claim with SBR. We will issue you a check today for the balance of your account less, bonus, deposit and fee’s. The check will be sent via DHL or FedEx in the amount of $1761.00. We will have a tracking number emailed to you as soon as our payout processor provides one. Your account is unlocked so you can view the deductions.

Congratulations on your winning and best of luck on your future gaming.

    Regards,

    Laura.
So I am getting paid. I think their bonus rules are unclear, I met them in one part of the site but not another, but I can live with that.

Thanks again to Bill and Laura for getting this matter resolved.

I live to bet another day......

You are welcome Peep. Gamblers Palace said you were given the choice to roll it but decided it was best to move on. Unless you had put a dent in it, that's probably the best move.

And thanks to Gambler's Palace for keeping an open mind and taking a clear, fresh look at this players' situation. These can be very fine lines. Good books should always be willing to re examine the facts. The true crapbooks will use this kind of situation to burn the player.

    You are welcome Peep.

GP has some issues with how they handle players on the front line. Mgt. being more hands on would help that but they have been willing to tackle anything that comes in through SBR.
