SBR office Tours: View photos of BetBlackDog (SBR rating C-) here. The sportsbook is located in a two-floor complex called Plaza Rubi in Costa Rica. SBR was first contacted by BlackDog users almost one year ago with reports that the book was misrepresenting itself as being affiliated with other known brands 5Dimes (SBR rating A) and BetRoyal (SBR rating D-) in an effort to acquire their players. BlackDog management tells SBR it has dismissed the offending members of its sales staff and "any mention of any other sportsbook would result in immediate termination." SBR has not received any BlackDog withdrawal or wagering complaints. BlackDog has been added to the SBR rating guide at C-.

Very few books are independent. The majority of the new books in 07 and 08 were offshoots of existing scam operations that receive similar ratings like Sportsbook.com, Capilleira and the worst, Futurebet/Oddsmaker.

A new book listing with its own operational investments and references can come out of the gate above a blacklist rating. BD has been transparent with SBR which has accelerated the evaluation process. Still, players should use caution with all small new books.

We are enjoying Blackdog, I like playing at a low profile but very solid book.

I have just signed up with them and so far they have been great. Very good customer service as they reply my emails within 10 minutes and always have someone on live chat to help me. Every once in a while theres a problem with the actual sportsbook with a few error messages but they are very very quick to fix it. Very good book to me so far. Not sure what their graded on here is but I would give them a B+ at the least. Just my 2 cents.
