Exclamation InstantActionSports confiscates winnings, earned bonuses

InstantActionSports (SBR rating C) confiscates winnings, earned bonuses

The sportsbook sent an email to two account holders stating that they will not honor a "50% moneybookers bonus and winnings from the bonus due to sharp play" after the bettors won wagers and already completed their rollover wagering requirements. SBR has contacted sportsbook management stating that retroactively voiding wagers and deducting bonuses after the requirements have been met is considered theft. SBR has asked IAS to reconsider this decision and employ better risk management and more appropriate bonus terms. SBR advises sportsbooks to identify undesireable play as soon as possible and prorate the bonus before parting ways with the customer. The players have pointed out that they would have placed the wagers at a different sportsbook with deposited funds had IAS declined to service them. A final decision from [iSBRFORUM]InstantAction[/iSBRFORUM] is expected tomorrow.

    Sticky,
No email but will catch up with someone by Monday. I think they got caught on the MB promo with forums and groups they feel should have known better but ultimately, they are the ones that should know better here. Hoping for good news soon.

I canīt say nothing bad about them. Except they invent new payout fees.

But A+ rated books like betcris are very much better to invent this terrible fees in this case

I mean this terrible payout fees

What is the normal time scale for these issues?

I think the facts are established.

How long are IAS given to respond before their rating is reviewed?

Welcome to the SBR forum sassasdave.

I wouldn't worry at this time, because you will have to want until you goto cash out before you possibly have a problem.

Thank you for your welcome bigboydan. Im a bit worried about betting more as effectively any odds I get are 1/3 of what they should be.

They've taken nearly $4000 off me. I have emailed helpdesk@ as the complaint form didn't work, so I hope it has been received. I actually went on way beyond the rollover and didn't engage in any sharp practices at all. They accused me of betting before the lines changed, but most of my bets were placed hours before any games, and I didn't even compare the odds to elsewhere. I am happy to submit exact details of all bets. Their 33.33% deduction is outrageous - I barely dipped into the bonus, and if I had never been given a bonus I would be much better off right now! If they can do this to me they can do it to anyone, the bonus was jsut an excuse to take 33% of all our money - not just winnings, THE ENTIRE BALANCE! It's a scam, conducted by a scam book. Their rating MUST be reduced - to F! I hope they will see the error of their ways, but I doubt it. I expect many more complaints to follow.

I understand that in some cases investigations are required. This does not seem to be the case in respect of this issue, as the facts are established and apparently not disputed.

That is why I asked how long they will be given to do the right thing

Our first priority is getting players the money they are due and making sure future players are not at risk. Mgr. Fred assured us tomorrow is the day we will have a final answer on these players receiving their winnings and already-earned bonus.

This book has another hidden gem.

If funds are credited to a client's account in error, either it is a human error, technical malfunction, payout miscalculation or other; it is the member's responsibility to notify Instant Action Sports of the error. Any winnings subsequent to the error whether related to the error or not, shall be considered invalid and voided from the account.
They can take a great shot by intentionally overpaying .01 on some non-even-dollar bet (or crediting fees + $0.01) that will almost never get noticed (or if noticed, written off), then voiding any winning account. I can see voiding anything won only because you had the extra funds to bet with, but as written, it's just absurd.

Bill/Dan, how many complaints have you had where the player has had 33% deducted ? Is there anyone who hasnt had 1/3 stolen when asking for a withdrawal ?

Is there any way to know my complaint was received? I had to email it to help@sportsbookreview.com as the complaint form returned an error for me. I hope this is finalised one way or another soon so I can get on with my life, pretty stressed out by it all at the moment

To my understanding I was always advised to tell everyone if the complaint form didn't work for them they need to email there details to: Assistance@SportsbookReview.com .. However, If you already sent in your details to the other email address. Then please give us a few more days, because we field many complaints on a daily bases and they tend to get backed up from time to time (everyone goes in order in which it was received)

so another day goes by without a promised answer.

Time for a downgrade SBR, this has become a scam book.

InstantActionSports (SBR rating C-) fails to update SBR and players on multiple complaints of earned bonus and winnings confiscation today as promised. SBR will continue to seek updates on behalf of players. IAS has been downgraded to C-.

They likely aren't too happy about the reports and are dragging their feet. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and they will do what's right and best for business. They have been around long enough to know what they need to do. This isn't a book known for foul play and that reputation can be avoided.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. If they simply took back the bonuses, I could see how they would think that they were justified, since they do state that bonuses are for recreational players. It's still wrong, since rollover is completed, but the thought process would be comprehensible, and I wouldn't necessarily write the management off as thieves.

What they actually did, jacking 1/3 of all winnings (or of the entire balance, unclear), is something that shouldn't even cross a reasonable person's mind. Seriously, unless you're a thief trying to invent ways to rob somebody, how do you even come up with that nonsense, much less act on it???? This book's management has shown that they think, and act, like common thieves. Getting "caught" and giving the money back this time isn't going to save their reputation. They've shown exactly what they are.

I hear ya Tom. This was a tactic of BetOnSports before they hit the mat. Guys reading the SBR reports and forums will be able to decide if it's worth the risk. From a business standpoint, there is hope for their reputation and that means more motivation to pay these players. If they give it back no one can say they owe money but I agree... not a C book right now and refunding players won't change that overnight.

I can't believe another week has passed by and these guys have done nothing at all about the situation (IAS I mean, not SBR).
I'm starting to worry about my whole balance being lost, as opposed to the 5000USD they're planning to remove from it. I mean, IAS know that if they don't "fix" this situation, and SBR blacklist them, or rate them very very low, it will lead to the end of their company.
So ... the only reason why they wouldn't immediately have rectified this, is if they're seriously considering wether or pay, or let the company die.? (And keep everything the currently hold, including my 15000USD).
For now I've managed not to panic. But am in a constant state of confusion.

Many thanks for your efforts Bill. I too feel like sticky in that i am starting to get concerned about my entire balance, especially as you mentioned betonsports in this thread! I would have been much better off not getting the bonus in the first place. I suppose i have learnt the hard way.

InstantActionSports (SBR rating C-) agrees to honor winnings and earned bonuses

InstantActionSports tells SBR it will honor all earned bonuses and winnings from players involved in the "Moneybookers Bonus" dispute. A low five-figure sum is expected to be returned to players tomorrow. SBR will meet with IAS and advise on bonus policies for non-recreational players. Management has also stated that winnings and bonuses, where the wagering requirements have been met, will not be taken from valid account holder balances.
