go to Soccer -> Coupons -> and pick for example Saturday In-Play Coupon. You'll now see all the livebetting-games scheduled for saturday. You can also pick Sunday, Monday etc.

Be forewarned that there is no guarantee a game on that coupon will go in running, so be careful if you take a position beforehand. There have been cases where they've been listed on the coupons but then BF were unable to get pictures.

betfair have deducted me more then 700 Euro a few weeks ago.

They declared, they forget that their "in play" game was an "in play" game or something.

This book like to take your money, but they are responsible for nothing.

You mean they forgot to cancel open offers when the game started, so they voided all bets made after the start?

no, at the start of the games, all odds go suspended, so no one can bet after the start of those matches.

But in some spanish soccer matches this season for example they put some matches to go LIVE and when they started those matches never went LIVE, so no trading could be made, or in-play bets.

These happened because of some Television rights in Spain where there is a legal battle over who has the broadcast rights. One company says it owns every rights, another says they can also broadcast the match using their own cameras, and because of this, some matches who where broadcasted to betfair (who uses Skysports for spanish matches) had about 30 seconds of delay, so no one can trade if betfair suspend the markets when a goal occurs about 30 seconds later, at that time many users would already cleaned up the odds.

Default Sporting transmission delay

If you are betting footie in-play or the horses for that matter then try to watch it on an analogue ( old aerial ) style TV as Freeview and Satellite add 4 and 6 seconds to transmission delay respectively due to their complex digital signal processing.

With the 5 seconds delay imposed by Betfair, watching on analogue almost evens the timings.

Hope this helps

No Santo.

They forget to turn a game into this "in play" modus with their 5 seconds delay.

Thats enough reason for betfair to turn their failure ....into my failure.

This betfair failure costs me more than 700 Euro.

But betfair isnīt interested about this.

BUT TaHTīS NOTHING NEW.

Betfair never is interested about their failures.

They are only interested in making money.

I don't have a problem with them voiding in that situation, would make it very easy for players with quicker pictures to take advantage of those without.

Do you mean it cost you 700 potential profit, or did you lose 700 because you didn't cover a position with an other bookmaker before the match went in play?

Witver, Santo makes an excellent point earlier.....Just because it is listed in the "In play" column, there is still no guarantee that this will be the case.....

Personally, through experience I've learned to wait until the opening whistle, then get in on the action once the live-play status is assured. Even then though, as an earlier poster pointed out, if they lose the feed it's the ominous "SUSPENDED" until further notice.....

Ok, its because of my lausy english.

But no santo. Itīs the opposite.

They send me a very strange rule in their AGBīs telling me everything they do is ok in the end. Brilliant thing.

This rules say something like : If we want to void bets, we have the right to void it, If we donīt want to void bets, we have the right to dont void it. Thatīs really (bet)fair

they dont assume any responsibility for their errors.

Each responsible for their errors will be transferred to the customer.

Thatīs what I criticize!!!
