Good day to all members, I have found this forum on google by typing keyword 'bwin scam'.
I have some serious problem with bwin.com.
I have opened an account (I din’t use any bonus promotions), during two weeks I have deposited 4,360 USD from my CC and spending them on betting on ice hockey events.
I was loosing a lot but finally I started to winning some money. I requested 1,500 USD payment on my CC, keeping over 1,000 USD on the account so I can continue playing and about 1,500 USD still running on several bets. I sent them copy of my CC front and back + my ID. Second day I tried to login and : your account was closed!
I contacted their support via phone, I was told that some specific departement will be contated and they will get back to me. I wait 24 hours and nothing so the next day I called again and I was told that the reason for blocking my account is that my birth date filled in the registration doesn't match the date on my ID and that they have the right to block my account and not to pay me.
I couldn’t believe it, I play on expekt.com and unibet.com as well and no problem ever with them - of course I have there correct birth date!. Why the hell should I fill in wrong date of birth? I am not stupid I never do that I play for a long time. I am 24 years old, there is no reason to lie about my age and why should I send them my ID If i knew I filled in fake birth date, I am not an idiot.
I asked her politely to told me what birth date she see in my registration she said like uhm, one second and then uhm sorry sir we can’t provide you WITH YOUR REGISTRATION INFO. Interresting isn't it? She can't tell me my own registration info.
Date of birth - I am almost sure I filled it in CORRECT (I admit that there could be mistake on my side that I might misstyped year like 1983-84 or month, this could happened but I really doubt it, the same day when I registered with bwin.com I registered with expekt.com as well and of course I have there correct date of birth, on bwin I can't even view my date birth info and they even won't tell me ).
I asked her what about my money, running bets etc? She told me they will investigate it further but that it can take a looong time. Awesome! Also I was informed that my account won't be reopened. Ridiculous! This happened yesterday.
Today I received an email from bwin about the 1,500$ which I asked to be paid that they will send it to my CC, but nothing about the 1,500$ on running bets or 1,000$ still in my account. So I called again and they told me that they will investigate and think about what they will do with my money or the bets. What kind of company is this oh my god?.
I still can't believe this. I am asking for an advice what should I do? Thanks a lot for reading this and in advance for any advice and comments.
Edit : I just get another email that they have closed my account completely and that I can make a REQUEST to get paid the balance I have there but nothing about the running bets there..I have there placed bets for over 1,500$ on several tickets.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir.

A lot of the Euro books seem to be precise with there withdraw requests, and typos do happen. If you need some assistance with your problem, please feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire on your behalf.

malfin, you should sign to real good bookies, bwin is a pain in the ass when you start winning there, they always try to make some excuses to not pay.

malfin, bwin is rated a C+ by SBR which should mean you have a good chance of getting a favorable outcome from filling out the complaint form at SBR as BBD has suggested.

A C- to C+ rating is stated as follows:
Average to below average cust. service with some risk to players funds.

In case your wondering a B- book is stated as:
Good, minimal risk to players funds. Top 10% of all books.

Of course these ratings are just SBR doing the best they can to make this a safer industry for us all and things can change in a heartbeat, but it appears you have a good case, if we are just looking the ratings. I would say you are the favorite on getting your money.

Ok guys today I have received an email from them and I know they are FRAUD, somebody should close their bussiness this is too much. I am now very sure they have modified my birth date, they just robbed me nothing more nothing less. I have never been so much pissed of in my life. It's not about the money, but about prinicple, who the **** they think they are to closing accounts and stealing money? They told me that the balance on my account is 294,26 USD and that they WILL GLADLY PAY ME and that all may running bets (tickets) have been already evaluated. Too sad it was like 3,500 USD inlcuding running bets (don't forget my deposits were 4,360 USD I have won nothing). Too bad for them I have proof that tehy are ****ing lying because I have been taking screnshots of some of my bets for example bet on Canada Ice hockey world champ. 625 USD which couldn't be evaluated yet. Below is proof that at least 5 tickets couldn't be evaluated yes because it could be done after the tournament LOL, sorry it's in Czech only - look at the last one MS 2008 - men (winner) Canada. There are 4 more tickets which team will have better placements - German, France, Norway, Latwia...too bad I don't have screen of my balance but at least I have some proof they are robbing me! I will discuss with my bank complete chargeback of all my deposited funds now!

Calm down sir... Before even considering a chargeback, please feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire to them on your behalf.

Many users don't know this website.
Bwin is spending a lot of $$$ on commercials. Many teams in Europe or commercials in soccer games and even in the airports in Germany and many other places are full of their commercials!
That brings you a feeling you are dealing with a honest bookmaker, and the user also said without google the words "Bwin Scam" he wouldn't find this website.
Many users in Europe don't have the American mentality of filling out complaint forms and waiting to replies. I am coming from there so I know exactly what the user is feeling.
It's too bad Bwin makes a bad name for themselves. they're even worse than BetUS for Americans, I mean closing account because of birthdate? where the hell those guys are living?
I've also heard on many issues with their affiliate programs for other people who promoted their 2nd website poker-room, I feel like they are doing a lot of bad stuff

Too bad to hear it, I used to play with them a very long time ago and got all my withdrawals on time but I lost to them more than I won so maybe that's was the reason (overall I played only a few hundreds with them, so I've never been in the guy's situation spending thousands)

Please step and help to resolve mafin's case, this is a really rediculous, I hope SBR should rating this book at least to E or F. I hate to see a book that not paying the players, they have no gut at all.
