Default Conflict With Carib

I am in a unique bind. Carib closed my account today because I have "two accounts." I do not have two accounts.

They think I have two accounts because I allowed a friend of mine, who has his own separate Carib account, to play the NFL handicapping contest under my user name (he couldn't get funds posted in time).

So what they are seeing is him logging into my account to place his contest picks and then logging into his account under the same IP. Carib's solution is to close my account (the newer of the 2) while leaving his open.

This solution would be fine if we were really the same person, but as it is it leaves me with no account there. Their solution was for me to "place my wagers under his account."

Even after looking over their records and seeing that no actual wagers were placed by my friend under my user name, they still won't budge an inch. IMO they are unable and/or unwilling to wrap their brains around what truly happened.

They are paying me my balance though. Any thoughts or ideas? I am probably coming off as shady here, but this is honestly the Gospel truth.

Have you talked to them directly on the phone? I once had an issue that went round and round with their email system. They eventually told me to call and I did. It took less than 10 minutes for them to resolve the issue after I called.

I talked to them on the phone for about a half hour today. I've had good experiences with them in the past, but today I got no where.

I'd love to know how they can explain me and my buddy logging in to place our contest selections within 10 minutes of each other from different parts of the country.

Their decision is fair. You're at fault.

ForGet,
The activity is generally not allowed and of course it is up to them to decide whose action they take. But, if you and your friend haven't played the same events you would think the book would allow both accounts to remain. especially if bonuses are not part of the issue. If you want to pursue it send your ID to Help@SportsbookReview.com so we can ask mgt. about your case.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why this rule exists. What I don't understand is why they would want to lose a customer over a harmless incident like this.

It was a contest. No wagers were made under conflicting IPS. It was a friend helping a friend. No harm was done to Carib.

Thanks, Bill. I will probably take you up on this later today. I am more curious than anything else at this point. I feel like there has to be more to this than they are telling me.

My career numbers at Carib are pretty outstanding.

I want to thank Bill for his help with this issue. Things did not go my way, but I still appreciate the work that was put in on SBR's end.

FWIW, Carib is a solid book that always paid quickly and treated me well. Ultimately I guess I am not the type of customer they are looking for.

I wouldn't let my issue sway you from playing there.

Not to tout, but try to deal about it with them again. I have had nothing but decent experiences with their customer service in my 7-8 years with them.
