Default Bookmaker Cris DSI Free Play Warning

Maybe this is well known, but I didn't know it until yesterday.
DO NOT PLACE A BET USING YOUR FREE PLAY ON ANY OUTCOME THAT CAN TIE/BE CANCELLED. If it pushes, It will be graded a loss for Free Play purposes, rather than a push, where the Free Play is refunded into the free play account, like other places.
This is a horrible rule, but it's in their rules so I can't complain if I get bit by it. But I can warn others to not be as stupid as I was.

I think that's pretty well standard industry practice

Is that the rule just for a push (5-4 game and you have Over 9), or does it also apply to cancellations (like a rainout or pitching change) where the game that you bet doesn't even get played ?

Yeah. Pretty common. Lost a free play earlier this year on a ND/Mich total push.

That said, it's not like you are going to buy points on a free play.

Just make sure if you use the Free play in football or hoops, or even Hockey, to make sure it's on a spread with a half point. I wouldn't even use it for Baseball, because you could run into one of those rain shortenned games, where totals are cancelled, and who knows how they'd treat that?? I think it's a rule they should change, but if they don't, just don't let it bite you. I didn't mean to hammer them. If it's their rule, it's their rule. Just be aware of it.

thank for the advice, one can bet on an over/under 8.2/5 on baseball for exemple that way ur sure there is no push.

I would use my FP at DSI/Bookmaker for parlays. It's highly unlikely that you'll get multiple pushes on one bet.

had that happen along time ago but they just put it back in there as a freeplay

Yep, terrible rule that needs reminding..and this is definitely not "common" or "standard" as some has suggested.

Whoops now it's changed.I signed on at the get 300 for 600 and they said the rollover was a mistake on their page so I took the 20% after my money was there and when I tried to use it in a parlay they said I couldn't,straight wager only.I can't stand dealing with all the horseshit that goes on lately at some of these shops, all that glitters isn't gold.
