    Default sportsinteraction locked account

A friend of mine deposited 900 on sportsinteraction ran it up to 6k, put down 3.5 worth of bets, requested a 1500$ withdraw and after submiting documents went to check the open nfl bets for the weekend. On login, it says there is a problem with the account contact customer support. Support says it's a security issue don't worry, it will take 5 buisness days to process the documents, open bets are valid. withdraw will be paid.

After emailing security they didn't respond to the question of seeing open bets but gave a generic answer of receiving the email but have no comment on the questions. Also, they will only handle this case mon-fri 10-4.

Is it normal to be locked out of an account with no real answer after asking for a 1500 withdraw after a 900 deposit?

SIA will treat your friend fairly, unless he tried to defraud them. They'll still treat that situation fairly, but your friend won't like it as much.

I logged on the account (i have my own, that hasn't been closed) to look at my friends bets never to bet. Other than that I can't see what they have a problem with , other than paying. I beat them for the regualr 10 and had my limits cut to 100, they still let me play there.

Hope you get your money ok, but you may have a problem. Never a good idea to use the same I.P. address, this bunch also use mp.iesnare to detect multiple accounts. It makes no difference whether you make a bet or not, it will make a record of it, link the account and may view it as fraud.

Combining your limit cut with sharing an IP address and you're not on solid ground; if it was the same computer as well you may be screwed.

If you're lying this is incredibly stupid
If you're telling the truth this is possibly even more stupid

No one does poker or sportsbetting on my IP but me. No one!

That business rule keeps me from situations like this.

The only thing thing that ties their account with me is that after it was up so much they gave me there password to look at the bets/bank roll.

I never logged into the account once they asked for a withdraw and that triggered the investigation. The peron also bets football, I only bet baseball with sia. I also bought in a couple time on my account and lost during this period.

If that is the only connection between the two accounts, you'll probably get paid.

If both accounts had similar types of bets, it is a much tougher case.

The bets were on different sports.

First rule of gnoming - never log on to more than one account with same ip, regardless of bets placed.
And if it does go up, be interesting to see if SBR are happy to potentially aid fraud.

I really think that this should not be a problem. unless SIA is 100% sure that it is the same person using them then it really does not matter if his friend logged from an internet caffe, his friend's, cousin's or girlfriend's house. I had for long time a dynamic IP together with thousands of others who use the same internet company. does it mean that they can take my money because some guy had an account with SIA before me and once we had the same IP address?

Because they've been treating people reasonably fairly for the last two years.
