Hi All,
I'm about to take 1 month vacation with my wife. She did promise me that I can spend 2 hrs a day to cap and bet on sport while we on vacation. My question is can I log on into my account and bet on it while I'm outside of US. I current have thr greek, bet jam, 5 dimes, matchbook, the pig and betonline. Which of these book allow to do so. Thanks WT. |

I make bets while I am at work as well as at home. Also use my PDA to make bets. Are you saying this could cause me problems since that is 3 separate IP's I use to bet on my account. |

If a book wanted to deem it that way I guess it possibly could. Thats why it's always best to check with books on this aspect upfront.

The rules are for only one account per IP. you can bet from more than one place. surely lots of people bet at home, work, vacation, etc.
I've bet at many of those books from hundreds of ip's around the world. it's fine. |

The IP rules are designed to prevent one person from opening multiple accounts at the same book in order to either circumvent limits or to abuse bonuses. The issue comes up when more than one account is betting from the same IP address. I've never heard of an issue resulting from someone betting from multiple IP's -- after all, some internet providers will change your IP from time to time. Also, people move, etc.
I was traveling a lot last year, playing every day from a different place and did not have any issues. I have a friend that's on the road all the time for work that plays everyday from different places. These are all at A rated books though. In August I plan to open quite a few new accounts and am wondering if they will take issue to my location (Colombia) if I register with my US address and bank. I see a few sites say they only give bonuses to US based players. I am hoping this won't be an issue. |

durito, at this moment many bookies don't allow US customers, mainly here in Europe.
Betfair for example has a feature in my account that enables me to select from which countries i can login, for example, i can disable access from China. Imagine that some chinese hacker gets into my pc and stole my username and passwords (don't have them recorded but people might have). Since i can't login at my betfair account from a chinese IP that hacker can't get my money. |

I do it the other way around, I only have access enabled from 3 countries, and occasionally add another if I'm there on business.

I've never had any problem betting from different countries than the one registered.
