    Default 12bet stupid rule

I was betting at 12bet for quite some time now and during the world cup they have lowered my limits from 1500 euro to 20 euros per bet. I know that it is in their right to do this but however I have made a deposit of some 6000 euros and they do not let me withdraw the money without betting it at least once nor they want to increase my limits. there are NO bonuses involved, just my deposit which I intended to bet.

here are the emails I have sent them and their replys:
    Hello,

my name is xxx and my username is xxx. I am a member of 12bet for quite some time. during the WC2010 I have asked for my limits to be raised (they were 500euro per bet for max 3 bets) and they were raised to 1000 euro per bet for max 3 bets. I have enjoyed these new limits for few days and then they were lowered to 500 again. few days later I made a bigger deposit only to find out the next (or the same day) that my limits were lowered to 25euros! I went on a holiday for a month hoping that this will get fixed but the limits are even worse now with 10 euros!
I spoke to your CS on livechat Lynette and she told me that I should ask here for you to raise my limits as it is not possible for me to rollover my deposit with the limits of 10 euros per bet nor it is possible to withdraw all of the money without losing a significant part of it.
I would like to ask you to, if possible, to increase my limits as I would really like to continue playing with you, or to process my withdrawal without extra costs because it is an unfair rule with the lowering of my limits.

here is their reply: We would like to inform you that your requested bet limit has been reviewed however it was declined. Please be advised that bet limits were reduced in line with our company's policy. If you wish your bet limit to be reviewed again, kindly send a request after couple of months to be forwarded again to Management.

Thank you and have a nice day ahead.

my reply: my question is, after the limits raise has been declined, can I withdraw my money as I have over 6000 euros and I really cannot make 600 bets in order to be able to withdraw it? I think that I should be allowed to withdraw the money without penalties because you lowered my limits from 1500 euros per bet to 20 euro.

and their reply: We have received your email regarding your request to cash our your money deposited in your 12BET account. We regret to inform you will not be allowed to request a withdrawal unless you meet the turnover requirement (x1) for your deposit.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

I have no idea what to do. I really have no intention to lose 1000 euro because they have lowered my limits to 2%. any ideas?

Do you have copies of the chats / e-mails in which they agreed to raise your limits? Was there any mention of how long it might last, warnings if limits were to be lowered, etc? It's fairly clear that you made such a large deposit in reliance on keeping the newer, larger limits for some time but it would be useful if you had some evidence of their statement of their position re the larger limits.

I think you should complain to their regulator, asking to withdraw without penalty. According to my googling, they have just acquired an Isle of Man licence, which might help you. Here's a news article from yesterday, which discusses it: http://www.online-casinos.com/news/news0710146.asp - they're not yet listed as licence holders, but there are several news articles online saying they've just acquired the licence. Here's the link to the regulator's complaints process to get you started: http://www.gov.im/gambling/players.xml

Absolutely unconscionable behaviour and any fair regulator would insist they allow you to withdraw that deposit in those circumstances.

their sister company ibcbet.com is for pros.

perhaps this would be an option - ask them to transfer the ballance to ibcbet?
otherwise, check above AH's post, gives you excellent info.

thx AH. Yes, I have the email where they have raised my limits, actually here it is:
    Dear Mr. xxx,

    Re: Bet Limit Query

We are glad to inform you that our good management grant your request to increase your betting limit. You now have 1.K per bet and 3K per match. Please check your account to confirm.

Thank you and have a nice day ahead.

I am going to write to the regulator and update it here after they reply to me.

I've asked that question a dozen times without getting any satisfactory response

Think you have to go through an agent

Leave me out of that thanks

Is the limit lowered for all offerings? For example my Ladbroke is 1 Euro for American Football, but very high for English Football.

Try the ibcbet transfer, but I suspect they won't allow it.

If not, just bet every randomly on all soccer major league asian handicap, you'll lose the juice but that's only 90 euros average. Bet two handicaps per match, german/italian/spanish/english/european, should be able to get through the rollover in a month.

I would ask SBR to contact them on your behalf. Some pencil pusher will not even undertsand why the rollover is not realistic.

20%, what a rubbish shit company. And draw bets why don't count?

well, I am still getting over the rollover. I have sent a complaint to SBR few times already and few times to Isle of Man regulatory body but no reply from any of them. I guess in one year I will have the 6000 behind me but there is really no way that I will give them 1000 euros for completely no reason...

This is definitely a shi**y situation and I don't think that regulator will be able to help you since theoretically, 12bet is acting 100% percent according to their rules and not breaking any. I had the same situation with another bookie but I had a deposit of only 200 euros (max stake - 10 euro per bet). Wish you good luck and hope you'll double your money with those 300 bets if they won't allow you to withdraw or transfer

There has always been a split of opinons on 12bet, I quite regularly read and hear reports of people having problems there, so I exercise caution when playing at this book. IMO their lines are not well managed like bigger asians are, they do limit and they do act a bit "funny" with peoples balances. Regardless of whether they are entitled to do this under their terms, the fact is that they can be a bit of a headache.

12bet have low limits 250eur for soccer so why deposit 6000there ?its not book for big players

Nenad, they raised his limits, and his specifically (following an e-mail conversation) not just across the board. Then he deposited. Then they slammed the limits back down a few bets later.

I think the regulator should care about this, and I'm quite surprised they're ignoring you, OP. Have you tried calling them? Obviously you want it addressed in writing, but perhaps that might move things along. 12bet are effectively holding his money hostage - no legit book would say "I don't want your action any more" (which is what they're saying when they cut his limits to nothing) while also saying "but I'm going to force you to give me more action at these crappy limits". If they don't want his action, that's their issue, not his, and they should let him cash out in full without penalty.

he didn't sing a contract with 12bet ?right he only ask over the email for limits, then he enjoy couple of probably wining bets and then he was punished because they can do that.

Bro, They did reduced my bet limit before, there is nothing we can do about it. Anyway, I think it is the industry practice where most of the bookmaker requires us to rollover our deposited money once (with no bonus) before you cash out.

One of the reason that i heard for this concern is to avoid money laundering.People can simply pump in money then cash out!!

You might want to check with other bookie and see if they also apply the same rules??

Wish you can get back your money soon...Good Luck

I had the same problem with sportingbet. I had already a personal limit. Then I lost nearly my full account balance. After that I deposited money and played around christmas last year a few US Sports bets (NBA, NHL). Before that time I only played soccer bets. I won all three bets and got limited up to 12 EUR for the big soccer leagues. I asked the support to increase my limits or to get a free payout without turning over the money once. I got the free payout. Not every bookie is that outrageous.

I have almost finished the rollover so it is not such a big problem any more. I do not know what I would do if they limited me to 0.1 euro. I would probably pay the 20% "fee". However, what I find strange is that I wrote to their regulator 3-4 times and at least 3-4 times to SBR and never got any kind of reply from any of them (except from SBR the automated reply that they have received my complaint)
